The 533 MHz model has already sold out. And it's only a matter of time (I think/hope) when 667 MHz model is too. And we haven't seen that Flex model on the market yet.

Sam with 1GHz+ and 1GB ram and 9250 256MB would be awesome.

512 MB video ram would be even better ! I have SE also and I would like to see 1GHz+ machine too (with more than 1 PCI slot).

I tried to copy WinAlphaTest to sys:C with copy command in shell and I couldn't execute it from there. Shell was displaying some error message. Then I deleted it and copied it again to the same place this time dragging&dropping it on WB from one partition to sys:C. And now it's running from sys:C too. So the copy command must be somehow broken. (I had to make manual installation of 4.1 but everything else looks working fine so far.)

Re: AmigaOS 4.1 installation process freezes (solved + bug)

@TSK

I solved the problem doing manual installation copying all files manually to existing OS4.0 partition. At first I forgot to comment all usb and a1ide related lines in kicklayout and machine froze like when booting from the 4.1 installation CD. Then I booted with 4.0 installation CD and commented those usb and a1ide related lines in kicklayout and now after doing so 4.1 boots and works fine.

(I had USB disabled in Uboot settings but enabling them didn't change anything. I tested this before doing manual installation.)

AmigaOS 4.1 installation process freezes (solved/manual ins. + bug/problem)
Just can't stay away

I got my copy of 4.1 today. It loads Kickstart from CD and then opens "AmigaOS 4.1" boot screen (booting from CD of course). After that nothing happens no matter how long I wait. Keyboard reset doesn't work either. So I assume its totally frozen. Are there any other methods to install this to my HD f.ex. is manual installation possible. I have SE mobo so I'll guess it might be related to USB (no any USB stuff connected to my machine) or one possibility is it's my LiteOn DVD drive. So what to do next ?

I have serial port output log. Should I paste it here or somewhere else ? There's not any crashes reported.

(There's this strange thing in serial output "Flash 0 kB". But I'll get this also when booting 4.0 from the HD succesfully.)

Use ClickToFront cx (sys:Utilities/Commodities/), Access.docky (sys:Utilities/Dockies/) or Switcher3D from os4depot !!!!!

I don't remember is this what you're possibly looking for but:

Re: OWB 2.7

Just can't stay away

@joerg

When OWB opens a new window the page is not rendered full window size but only using partial size. When I resize the window it's rendering to full window size. It works this way if I use only WINDOWWIDTH and WINDOWHEIGHT tooltypes without WIDTH and HEIGHT tooltypes. If I use all those tooltypes together and I use the same values for both different size tooltypes (window and non-window) then it will render outside of window limits. If I remove WINDOWWIDTH and WINDOWHEIGHT tooltypes then it works correctly.

Re: New Amiga Web Browser in Development - Netsurf.

The first time I run NetSurf it couldn't render f.ex. amigans.net at all. Then the second time everything worked quite nicely. Strange. When I was writing this post it froze the whole system. (Now I'm using IBrowse to write this.)

So now we have a handful of useful web browsers. (I mean without those remaining problems.)

@joerg

Big big big great THANKS !!! Btw. It looks like you can put more time to OWB now because you're releasing new versions every day.

This 2.6 version is much faster than any previous version of the OWB i think. And it doesn't use too much memory either. I think it's now possible to use this as a main browser instead of the IBrowse. Scrolling and text editing is a little bit slow still but I hope it will be better someday and it doesn't matter too much.

Keep up the good work. Just add that bookmark feature back...

Well, if somebody could create a import-bookmarks-from-IBrowse-to-OWB tool...

Edit: I just tested copying text to clipboard and I got only garbage.

OWB ignores links which would open a new window.
In the AmigaOS4 port of OWB Blastoise I changed such links to be loaded in the current window instead, but not in the OWB Doduo port yet.

Doh, how I didn't think that possibility. But it looks like you "fixed" this already. You're fast.
