That's kind of a dumb remark. How about just not buying Amiga computers
all to together and avoid any problems.

Epson Color Stylus IIs was the best printer I've used on classical Amiga.

Great! I have compiled a new version of vim with GTK 2 support.

Umm, I installed Vim7 from X11r6Pre2. So, it's GTK1.

How difficult is it unistall something? I've read the install records; they're slim on information.

1) Make a copy of the PRT: device and icon found in DEVS:DOSDrivers
and rename them to USBPRT ...
2) Edit the USBPRT driver so that device = usbprinter.device and
save...
3) Go to prefs/printers and set up your printer prefs by selecting
your proper printer and then changing the port device to
usbprinter.device. Set the unit name box at the top to USBPRT: be
sure to have the ":". Save

Change the siiDE port settings in UBoot. You don't want to use 'automatic';
it doesn't detect the device. Set the devices numbers according to what they
are - harddisk or CD/DVD. I couldn't mount/bootup off a CD with out this setup.

It took me awhile too learn that the 'back' gadget is functional between OS4 WB and X11!

If you look closely on the card, you will see two pins labelled "LED" ... Remove the connector from JP3 on the mobo and transfer it to those pins on the SiL card.

Silly question, but have you connected your Computers HDD LED to the jumper on the SiI card?

Good one! I didn't realize that on the install--doh. Is this hard to do? The intruction sheet didn't even mention this.

Since getting sii0680ide.device installed, i lost HD drive light LED activity
and screen blanker? Are they IO related?

Any thing i can do about this?

Both worked fine in VIAide, but both are dead now? Am I missing a setting?

This is my CoolerMaster Musketeer. I tried looking up the product, but it's no longer available? Some of the new ATX cases come with gauges, but I'm sure that costs more.

I have a CoolerMaster -- Musketeer installed. The temperature gauge probe is installed on the cpu heatsink. Gauge normally is 40C something. Your CPUTemp reads 43C. That's really right on!

I startup at 28C and stay at 43C.

OK, how about a round of Quake2 and a few levels?
I get 48C with the Zalman fan in high.

Yes, I got this too from playing the CD via AIFF. Made sure I was set to 'gapless' and it played perfect for about 3 tracks and then stopped. Locked up the tray.

I went through all my AHIUser stuff and TN is the only device turning a control off -- sound off; no resources available. This the SDL message port. Every other audio device interacts with SDL with no problems. ????

A big reason why I don't use TN!
