Since we speek about mplayer why not enlarge a bit the bounty, if possible, to get an extended altivec optimization where possible on whole code?

And maybe feanor can be interested to get a full altivec AmigaOS4 (maybe an x1000)capable machine in change of its work if A-Eon itself will made a discount to encourage it?

Dunno how much money was needed for that but maybe we can get a new developer in that way, and what a developer! :D

That project was really nice but until the browser wont be fast as OWB-MUI(maybe the 1.17) it was not usable for my need...

I think 400MHz was really low performance also for OS4.x...
Not fo overall system usage that will be good for sure, but a general user wont use its computer only to joke with windows and drawers I think...

today a netbook was used primarly to browe and you think its enough for that? I'm not sure honestly...

To use SimpleMail/YAM/some simple os app(like mp3 players or word/calc with old softs) no problem but for the rest...

I noticed that deleting the CurrentUserProfile folder something help solving some crashes, but not always...
duno what else to do in that case and so only way to solve was to reinstall it...but when it works was better than nothig :)

However atm better to use Timberwolf only to do some tests and OWB(MUI) for the rest...

Here on Peg2@1131 Timberwolf was usable on some sites(like Amigaworld.net or other simple sites) but really unusable on sites like www.repubblica.it or youtube...
The alpha from 3.5 was really faster...there was any reason on that? Or maybe I've some troule?

Also another problme was that after trying to do something on YouTube I can do nothign and after switching off timberwolf I cant open it anymore...
I get always an ISI...

The only way to solve that was:

- sometimes deleting the directory "CurrentUserProfile" it starts again

- sometimes I 've to re-unpack all the files(dont found the exact error) and than it works...

Some known issue?

EDIT: I really miss the context menus...

9000pro was faaaster than 9250 since its 128bit and faster DAC.

I've AGP Radeon9000pro on my Pegasos2 and was a lot faster than old 9250!!!!

If you can found one get it! :D
