Which Amiga games have you completed or do you want to complete?
Quite a regular
Quite a regular

Hi,

Yesterday, while reading the Amiga Retro and Forever blog (https://amigaretroforever.posthaven.co ... hless-play-and-completion), I was impressed by the author who had played through Breathless. I've played it a few times, but never completed it.

That got me thinking. Which Amiga games have I actually managed to complete? Honestly, not many. I've done Nitro a few times, Dune 2, Civilization, Parasol Stars, some of the adventure games, and a few others... How about you? Which Amiga games have you managed to beat? Or which ones would you like to complete in the future?

Here's a few I'd like to do in the future:

1. Gloom
2. Breathless
3. Arabian Nights
4. Super Frog
5. Banshee
6. Simon the Sorcerer
7. Alien Breed 3D
8. The Chaos Engine

2024 - January - Virus Killer - Ended
Quite a regular
Quite a regular

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the first game competition here on Amigans.net in 2024!

We had a lot of fun playing a wide variety of titles in 2023. Let us
aim to make this year just as good, or perhaps even better.

We'll kick off the new year with a shoot 'em-up called Virus
Killer! It was developed by Parallel Realities and ported to
AmigaOS 4 by Cybort and ToAks in 2005.

Resized Image

Virus Killer runs on all AmigaOS 4 setups, including emulation.

It is available to download for free at OS4Depot. You can use the
link below to go directly to the download page:

http://os4depot.net/?function=showfil ... me/action/viruskiller.lha

Most games have a story and Virus Killer is not an exception.
According to the readme file, the story is about viruses invading
your desktop through various security holes. With the help of
your trusty mouse, you must shoot the viruses before they destroy
your precious files. Some will steal files from your directories
and bring them back to their security holes, while others will
feast upon them! The aim is to survive as long as possible until
all your files are lost. To accomplish this, you must move the
crosshair around the screen, blasting away and picking up items
to help you (freeze time, more power, etc.) survive.

- We play on NORMAL difficulty
- Post a screenshot of your score below
- The contest ends at the end of the month (January 31st)

The aim of the competition is to get the highest score.

Good luck everyone!

-----( Current Standings )-----

1. AlfredOne - January 19th - 1,600,250 points - Winner
2. TSK - January 20th - 1,105,370 points - Runner-up

Had a lot of use for NetSurf on the Sam Flex. Was quite fast, but also compatible with many websites. Looking forward to try the new version!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! Hope you'll have a great time!

We got the Christmas tree inside the house today and it is ready for decorating. Afterwards it is time for delicious rice porridge with cinnamon, sugar, and to drink... red Christmas soda. The tradition is that we use what is left of the porridge to make rice cream for dessert tomorrow.
