If I boot from the latest update4 it loads kickstart and just goes blank.

A common problem for Updat#4 until the "final" update. Can't tell
you what the problem was, but i suspected the video driver or
graphics. OS4 'final' cured it all.

Not exactly. If Quake2 is your game directory, the commodity will screw up the keyboard inputs and you'll be dead quickly!

Yeh, that woyks! It's seems that the term "Object" was ambiguous to me. I thought it applied to whole "mso", but it means an 'object' selected in the current 'mso'.

Ok, last night i tried it out. HotZone burped -- no alpha channel
on the icon. FxPaint fixed that quick. Gack, my icon is too big!
What size do you set them to? Anyway, interesting dock!

Normally those large .infos would slow it down, don't know why some of those iconsets are so much larger.

It's not icon size so much as the JIT compiler of WinUAE.
Euae doesn't have that power. OS3.9 install does run
at 020+cpu speeds if I stay away from all the icandy!

Before OS4 was released, I created a transfer partition between Debian
Woody and Euae on the A1. Linux uses an old version of 'affs' of DOS3. So,
AmigaDos3 was the best shaky filesytem for Euae. My OS3.5 ran quite
well in it.

Since July 2004, Debian linux retired to the garbage pail!

I guess!! Quite a few of your icon revisions for AmiKit:Locale/Help/English
had to be refiled/filetypes. A lot of docs and HTMLs were Drawer filetypes.
