@Mikey_C

Great idea.
Always mean to donate to authors but tend to forget and never get round to it.

Good way to keep the likes of me focused with a monthly reminder.

Have just donated to both the above.

@ToAks

That's the answer.
Tim emailed me back initially and then went quiet.
I'll just hold tight until he returns.

Cheers.

@TorajaBoy and Amigamancer

Is there anyone in particular I should be contacting?
I have been trying since the 20/05/08 but have had no success.

I had a response asking for my user namer on the Hyperion site but haven't heard anything since I replied.

Cheers

@Jack

That's got it, excellent.
Seems to be connecting to LastFM ok.
When I select the option "similar artists", a track is selected for me.

Not sure about a played list though.
Haven't used lastfm before, so will need to look into this.

Seems to be all good to me though, congrats.

@nubechecorre

Just tried recording usiing Tunenet for the first time.
When I came back and started to play what I have recorded, I get an encoder error message.

The stream still plays though with the odd blip.
Will look into it and report back.

So, do you want me to create the two pref files myself or would you prefer me to wait and try a fixed version?

Cheers.

@Jack

ENVARC:amuse/lastfm/user
ENVARC:amuse/lastfm/password

Neither of the above appear in my prefs directory.
Will try putting them in manually.

The dodgy folder produce a four line error message.
Will reproduce it and put a copy here.

@Daedalus

No reason why you shouldn't carry on.
Always good to have options and maybe a good learning curve for yourself?
Perhaps a bit of collaboration between yourselves?

@Jack

Already using the latest Amuse per your pm.
Pipe is mounted.
Awinpipe downloaded from the location stated by yourself.
Already tried in a small directory.

Sqlite is looking the most likely cause.
Will have another look.

(Was using the wrong build of Sqlite, very clever of me)

The directory building is working fine now.
Have tried a small directory and will now try a larger.

Seems to be ok over a larger directory.
Just have one folder it borks at.
Will try and workout why it does bork at that one only.

Login settings for LastFM still don't save.

@Jack

Not having much joy at the min.
I can add a directory and that works fine I think.
But when it comes to reading the tags from the cache, it just seems to lock up.

Can't seem to get any communciation between Tunenet, Amuse and LastFM.

@nubechecorre

Strange as I am using the buffered 4 way IDE Elbox interface and haven't had any problems.

Still, who cares as long as it works?

@Rogue

I have just had an email from Elbox to say the upgrade fro the Mediator SX to TX is now available.

Will definitely be upgrading.
Hopefully, I will not need to call upon your help afterwards.

@Amigamancer

Cheers mate, will do.

@All

Well I took the plunge and installed the OS4 update for freespace.
All is now well.
Slight glitch with graphics on the intro, but the game is fine.(Also very good)

The problem with two screens in Heretic only occurs when Double or Triple Buffering is used.

Heretic is dog slow at the min, but I haven't got Warp3d working yet, so will see what happens.
Hopefully there will also be something useful available when I register.

@nubechecorre

Yes mate, wouldn't get as far as I am without it I wouldn't have thought.
(Though haven't tried without)

@Mikey

I downloaded it but the bottled out.
A quick look suggested that might be more applicable to the A1

I will make a copy of the current installation and then try the updates for OS4.
Failing that, I might even try the updates for 3xx.

Cheers.

Finally got round to picking these up.
(Cheers Amigakit, fast service as ever).

Haven't attempted to run them under 3.9 for various reasons, but have tried under OS4.

The registration code after installing Heretic II works fine with the game but cannot be used to register on the Hyperion site.
Seems to suggest I haven't used enough digits?

The game does load but I have two screens .
When I move the character, the character on the other screen directly below it moves half a second later.

Freespace keeps complaining that it can't access the ChunkyPPC.library V31, but I have the latest one installed.

I am using a BPPC with a Voodoo 5500 and a Mediator.

Can anyone shed any light?

Cheers.
