In these parts we call 'em dry joints.

The solder will have a slighlty crystalline appearance and will need to be reworked with a touch more flux.

I do hope so.... While I am interested in AmigaNG for now I have to make do with my A500 and A600-30 HD. It would be a shame if we don't see any development or updates at all.

It's Aweb for me. I just can't get on with Ibrowse. I stuck with Ibrowse ever since I gave up on Mosaic.

If anything, I find picture loading on Aweb slightly quicker....

We just had IE7 rolled out at work and this still struggles to compete with the ease of use of my trusty Aweb.

Still, everyone has their own perspective.

I had the exact same thing happen to me - it turned out to be the brick PSU - the additional load of the accelerator must have been to much for its hardened power arteries.

bty - I learned the hard way always to use an A500 PSU whenever I accelerated anything Amiga.

I am desperate for an A500 IDE adapter - I don't want a GVP SCSI - and the IDE adapters are very rare.

It would be nice to see a forum dedicated to this.

I got one for my A600 on Ebay for $20 plus postage.

It was 3Gb and it works a treat!

I have been using my A500 recently.

I found my trusty old A1200 in the garage and was shocked to find it had turned a nasty yellow colour.
It looked like it has the Amiga equivilent of Liver schlerosis.

Does anyone know if or how it's possible to get rid of the yellow?
