I use a powered KVM to switch between my computers. I used to use a passive KVM (no power connection) but it caused problems with sticking keys, etc. I found a powered KVM in a local shop, picked up a power supply for it and have been happy ever since.

I know nothing about it but perhaps it is old software in need of a fix.

I don't understand what your point is. The forums are there to discuss problems and work things out and solve problems. The forums are not there to say "My program works" over and over so I really don't see your point.

HyperionMP on AW.net said there is supposed to be a pressed CD-ROM so perhaps we still can't really call it 100% finished just yet and Amiga Inc. has a few more weeks?

I have a DHCP server that needs more than the default 60 second delay to work properly so I use Run all the time. My Mac also takes a long time to DHCP and it also uses "Run" of course.

Sometimes I even use the C:ConfigureNetInterface command to configure the IP address after the AddNetInterface fails with DHCP. I'm not sure how many people even know the two commands are there and what they do.

If some application crashes because the TCP/IP stack isn't up and running it is seriously flawed. With OS4 it is a simple matter of one function call to determine if there is a valid interface available or not so there is no excuse for native OS4 software.

It is my understanding the powerpc.lib was not reworked for the newmem kernel and may or may not be included in a future AmigaOS release.

No memory swapping yet. It was decided to release rather than hold things back any longer waiting for features to be completed.

Preview was not finished and neither was the styles tab.

AmigaInput was not included since it was not finished in time.

I don't know what the story is about the boot jingle.

As has been said before, the final product will be a standard form factor and will have a few changes as well.

Note that there have been some changes to the Exec API as a result of the new memory system. Perhaps some of your problems will "go away" once you have the next OS4 release installed and you've updated your driver.

If you don't want to wait, contact Hyperion and see if you can be added as a 3rd party developer to get early access.
