@AmiGame Go here and grab the latest SFS, then go there and read yourself into how to install it. I have never regret switching to it, although the PPC native FFS was very temopting, well, i didn't give in  Good luck

@afxgroup I was about to ask the same... @nubechorre What do you mean by that? I got DMA enabled on my HD's/CD/DVD's drives, working great IRQ on gfx cards? The issues with broken mouse pointer/lockups were addressed with OS4final (at least for me) Everthings going smoooooth here...although an update on what's next would be nice? OS4 CD (maybe a downloadable update when it's out)? SDK, Games, that kind of stuff!

HD's not installed means, no information for partitions whatsoever in the RDB. As i understand it, PartitionWizard reads out the RDB, so it doesn't find anything. Quote:

That looks grim, if you "Install" and had a slightly different RDB before you WILL loose all your data, otoh if the RDB stays the same, installing might just bring back your partitions, because the program you installed it with before (MediaToolBox) is the same and therefor reads out the same geometry...i hope. So it's a game of luck, i fear.  Don't do anything, better wait for comments of other more reliable users here

@AmiGame ...you can also type "menu" at the UBoot prompt, press "ENTER" afterwards and reach, surprise, the UBoot menu. Once there, go to Boot Options and then to Amiga Multi Boot, there you can change it BIOS style

Err...you got a SATA card? You don't state what Sil you are using? You need to set it to Parallel Sil IDE CDRom as first boot device and Parallel Sil IDE Disk as second. Otherwise set it to Serial Sil IDE CDRomYou burned it with what program?

Of course you can boot from CD, just put in your OS4final
CD and set the UBoot settings to boot from CD first.
Got a Sil card installed here, too and installed from CD
to HD (both Sil)
May i ask what Filesystem you got installed?

@Outcast A shame... ...but, if others told (and were beaten) this ought to be too big for a one man project, they were right, too bad. I don't think that the code can be used in an existing project, stating from the figures i saw from Paihia (and that was years ago) it was in it's pretty beginnings and even if it is clean C/C++ and matured in some places i'd say it's still far behind AWeb and IBrowse. I'm not badmouthing smithy's work here, he did a helluva job with Paihia, but this mountain was too big for one man ... sob Maybe he likes to join another project?

It never was case sensitive (OS-level - well, maybe it was
with preOS3 versions, but it shouln't make any difference
nowadays).
There's either something wrong with your SSL install or the
DEFER mode doesn't kick in (for reasons i don't know).
Try the following:
Comment out DEFER and let the assign be there from the start
C:Assign AMISSL: DEVS:AMISSL ;DEFER
and see what happens
