How have you all found performance with Nexuiz on X1000 and X5000 systems.
I recall trying it a good few years back and found performance to be less than playable. It is in my list to try again and I would value any config tips.

The Elude Dust archive on OS4depot, when run today on OS4 looks odd, most of the effects are truncated and off screen. Can anyone confirm please?

No settings for fps counter in Torcs. Contrary to the manual press 0 for the stats.

What settings in TORCS? I seem to get much more than 8fps. How did you get an fps counter (pressing 5 does not work here)?

I raised this with Huno a few months ago.
He told me that he has identified a bug in his code and will try to fix.

Just watched the video. Great job. Love the grinder, subtle.
Setting up AOS4 from scratch will come in handy. I am still running the original install on the 2012 HDD. Time for a clean start.

I did some testing. Conclusion - RX590 is NO faster in AOS4 games than RX550.

Will have to take another look at that. It’ll be RX550 vs RX590.
IIRC most things weren’t better on 590, I think optimisation and cpu grunt rather than GPU power is the OS4 bottleneck

Was there a SSolie presentation or any AOS4/AEON keynote?

My powercolor red dragon rx590 works. Although the fans run at full speed.

Try changing set r_renderer “arb” in the config.
Very different lighting effects and about 35fps on x1000.

Thanks for this, AutoExec.cfg does seem to work though. Just the impact of the tweaks either have minimal performance impact, or game breaking graphical impact.
