I installed both archives to ram: to test. EDIT: Creating the .config and .local drawer structures in envarc removes the env:mplayer errors and now I just get:

@White
When you go to youtube and do a search, right click on the text link on the search result page and select YT from the pop up menu.
if you want to be able to right click on an image you need to add a new fabmenu entry, the same as above but in the imagelink menu
DO NOT open the individual pages as you would normaslly on a modern browser.

yt.rexx works or doesn't depending on whast country you're in and even down to the age of the files. YT changed things here 6 to 8 monthsa ago and very little works with YT.rexx any more.
run it from a shell and if you get an error like:
Unable to open T:YT-Site.html
then it's probably not worth integrating into ibrowse un til it's fixed.
If it does work open ibrowse grfs / gui /fab menus
open the link list and drag the word custom from the middle section to the right section.
then just fill iun the 3 string gadgets below
Name: YT Action [AREexx]<your path>yt/yt.rexx[int] %l ibrowse

@Tuxedo
You can ignore the home problem. it's just a message saying an unneeded envvar isn't set. From what MickJT told me on IRC a couple of nights ago mplayer looks for HOME and MPLAYER_HOME envars then falls back to PROGDIR:
If you want to stop the message:
makedir envarc:mplayer copy conf/* envarc:mplayer/
and either setenv save HOME ENV:mplayer or setenv save MPLAYER_HOME ENV:mplayer or both if you want too.
In theory this could be a good thing as all versions of mplayer should use the same config.
Edit: pointless typo correction of no longer needed stuff Note to self: IF vision <> 1 then gosub don'tpost

@Daedalus Quote: Hmmm, not ideal, but glad you could sort it out anyway. As for the 3.6.1 release, it's a little old at this stage and a few things have been fixed and changed since then. I recommend downloading the latest snapshot (https://sourceforge.net/p/amiblitz3/code/HEAD/tree/) and copying the files over to the 3.6.1 installation. Development has stagnated recently - I think a new package of the current builds would be a good thing... Ok. I tried that, Now I get the reqtools requester and it complains about an old version of PED_Beta. All I'm left with is a 'starting ide' window.. I agree that a new package would be a 'Good Thing' but it might have a problem or two. Edit: Ignore that, just ran it from Ram: and it's working fine apart from the reqtools problem but that's probably because my reqtools.library is in Libs: not SYS:Libs/

@AmigaSociety Look on Aminet, there's 377 archives in dev/basic/ found when searching for 'blitz'. There are also the contents of the blitz mailing list and a blitz faq in docs/help. Quote:
Daedalus wrote: It also has extensive support for the OS, so the executables can be run on OS4 as well, including support for large screen resolutions, RTG, AHI, MUI and so on
This is sort of correct, The extensive support is for OS3, The many changes in system libraries in OS4 have broken some things and compiled blitz code does do a bit of hardware hitting so some of AGA/GFX functions won't woirk On the other hand Blitz has very easy access to system libraries so if you use them even though you're compiling 68k code you'll be using native functions but again only the ones from OS3 times. Another good point is AmiBlitz to completely wriiten with AmiBlitz and the entire source code is on SourceForge so hopefully we might eventually get an OS$ native compiler and some fixes.

AFAIK there is no way to do such a horrible thing in workbench. The closest thing you can do is press the right amiga key when opening a new drawer, this will automatically close the parent drawer.
You can also press the right amiga key when closing a drawer to automatically close *ALL* drawers.
