I find Hollywood Designer a little bit harder to use than Scala. Ever used that before?

Yep, you're right. I was trying to use the dialer setup...and...it's now working! :) I just forgot about trying to setup the connection, reset the SAM and went straight into IBrowse (which I am typing this from) and voila! Now working!


Nice one mate, glad you're enjoying it and got it online. As others have said, try OWB - it's shaping up to be a fantastic browser.

I think the time of year you have suggested is a good one. I personally think (and reading the various journals) that the economy would have seen at least some recovery by then - that would boost people's confidence.

Thanks for the link, it outlines very clearly that 3.9 to 3.10 is a legal version transition.

Seems crazy to me from a simple maths point of view but that's immaterial.

.... because of you guys. The community spirit and camaraderie keeps me here...

The fact that the OS is slick, fast, good fun and brings back a lot of great memories are an excellent by-product!

My faves:

Hollywood 1 - 4 (inc Designer)
TuneNet
WookieChat
DVPlayer
EUAE
AmiPhoto

Some great programs with good concepts.

I long for the days when we get ourselves at least a few thousand user-base so we can have a few more shows - niche OS is fine by me!

Oh, and an active Demoscene, if we could get that back, that would be fantastic!
