@ChrisH

I'm interest in a costant wrapper (PPC.library) update, not only for Payback, hope that one day we can have a 100% functional library

@joerg

Mmm did you mean .ico files I suppose ...
Maybe using ICO Datatype would be possible ?

Just found one (native) on OS4Depot

OWB 2.19
Home away from home
Home away from home

New release, here the changelog:

2.19 (10.12.2008)

* Added support for FONTKERNING tooltype to enable font kerning, since it makes text input fields unusable it's still disabled by default.
* Now rounds all font sizes down to integers, makes the results less precise but avoids getting different spaces between the same chars depending on the context.
* Added FONTHINTER tooltype to overwrite the font specific hinter settings configured with TypeManager (0 = don't overwrite, 1 = best available, 2 = best available (light), 3 = always autohinter, 4 = always autohinter (light), 5 = no hinter, default = 3) and changed the defaults of FONTXDPI and FONTYDPI to 96. Now the results with the AmigaOS font engine look very similar to the ones of libfreetype, and if you still don't like it you should have enough options for changing it.

You can find it on OS4Depot, upload section

It seems that Gnash has a decent YouTube support since 2007

@joerg

If you add plugin support maybe we can use the IBrowse flash plugin, yes it is not complete and miss a lot of features, but better than nothing at this time

http://www.ibrowse-dev.net/

Alternative you can look at the recent bounty for Gnash

OWB 2.18

Home away from home

New release, here the changelog:

History:
2.18 (7.12.2008)
- Seems I finally found the missing bits to get usable text rendering,
especially with the core fonts, and changed the default fonts back to
the core fonts. The defaults for the FONTXDPI and FONTYDPI tooltypes
are 84 now, if you are using these tooltypes you have to adjust them.
- Fixed some bugs on ACID3.
- Added rendering optimisations from another OWB port.
- When scrolling with the mouse wheel or window scroll bars it now
immediate renders the new parts. It's slower that way, but avoids the
stripes.
- Added GETTITLE ARexx command.

You can find it on OS4Depot, upload section

@Hans

Yes sorry, I didn't specify it, we don't need both of them, but if I understand correctly the readme (you can read it to my bounty suggestion) you can choose one of this package.

Maybe Cairo would be the better choice as it seems to be more updated.

If I remember correctly Boost was updated a little by Fredrik Wikstrom during the porting of the latest release of Battle For Wesnoth, altrought I don't know if and where we can find the update

@Antique

I dind't investigate yet but it seems that it require almost 3 things, Boost, Cairo and Anti-Grain Geometry.

We have more or less all of them

Boost 1.33.1

Cairo 1.8.4

Anti-Grain Geometry 2.5
