@mbrantley

Maybe it goes open-source for let other devs to improve it further or add other functions as well.

OS4Depot is down since today, is there any alternative address to access it, like in Aminet?

@RIBDEVIL

Start the game from CLI and add >NIL: at the end.

Only thing that no 7z def icon available so I cloned a zip one...

Yes, that's what I did exactly.

@Kicko

I fixed that, by renaming the file's extension to .7zip.

Probably you have to clone def_7zip in ENVARC:Sys/ to another one like def_7z to work the other way.

I've already installed XAD 7z extension for use with UnArc in the past, but UnArc still not recognize any .7z archive.

Downloaded and installed it again now, but still nothing.

Do I have to alter something else too?

@Mrodfr

I believe that those Reference Books you mentioned, must not be the same in PPC systems, as there are a lot of differences in 68k systems. Maybe I'm wrong, I dunno.

But surely using these aforementioned books now under AmigaOS 4.1, might be a little outdated.

@ChrisH

You've absolutely right with that ESC key, but in some situations it comes in handy, like quitting multiview or close a tab under OWB.

But upon losing your current work/session, it's better that a particular program can pop up a requester when pressing the ESC key, likewise when you are pressing Amiga+Q.

@afxgroup

Still opens a shell-output but with just one line of information and nothing more, but I didn't see any increase in speed; the game seems to run as before (quite fast though).

Not sure but IMHO Eternal Lands doesn't use shaders, almost first release for AROS was released before the arrival of Mesa/Gallium ...

Maybe an earlier client version didn't use shaders, but a newer one might use.

Tried to use >NIL: to avoid the shell output that the game creates, but still no working.

Any ideas?

To be precise I would like to have a poker game, like this one here which is still developed and not being abandoned:

http://www.pokerth.net/

Also I'm searching for an open-source adventure game (like point 'n' click one) but didn't find any yet.

Eternal Lands is already ported to AROS, so it might be easy(?).

@Gnu

As you said; for the future. As with our current systems probably video editing is slow enough, but with the incoming X1000 this will be a nice tool to have.
