@Hans
As long as it?s easy, I don?t care what method is used,
If uses one native interface for OS4 native applications and JMP table backwards compatibility for classic programs makes no difference to me, or .SO objects.

@Chris Quote: The only thing that concerns me about the .library style, is that it makes porting plugins slightly more difficult. As they are unlikely to ever be simple straight recompiles, I doubt this will have much impact anyway. Your correct there are already parts in IB2.4 plugins that are only Amiga related, for example to obtain information about: width, height, left, top etc, IB2.4 uses IDoMethods() to obtain this kind of information.

@Hans
The NPAPI (Netscape Plugin application programming interface) on IB2.4 uses Amiga library API, the standard OWB/Linux API uses .so files and sheared objects (linking at run time), oh and yes the IB2.4 API does not fully fallow NPAPI guide lines, yes I have written 2 x plug ins, one successful, and one not so successful, so I know what I'm talking about, I hope there will be a IB2.5 OS4.1 native whit CSS support and a more compatible NPAPI.

@Ant
Open the ZIP file in notepad, and check DEVICE= and UNIT= and next check the TOOLTYPES for the Icon, badly configured mount lists can damage content on DEVICE=? And UNIT=?.
If you just won't to unmount volumes, you can do that whit the assign command in Shell.
Assign DISMOUNT ZIP
also check out mounter utility.

@nubechecorre Quote: nubechecorre wrote: Does anyone know how to edit a single resolution ?
i know that to edit a resolution i have to write this in the icon tooltype of Radeon Monitor in Devs/Monitor :
MODE 640x480@60
But if i need to edit the Khz for that resolution and not the Khz of the monitor how can i do it ?
Thanks
MODE=640x480@60 @60 = 60Khz oh and don't forget to add MODE=320x200@60 MODE=320x256@60 MODE=640x200@60 MODE=640x256@60 You never know when you need this modes.

Remove "#define fd_set int"
from include/vga.h and src/vga.h
Compile svgalib..
cd Work:svga/svgalib-1.4.3/ cd obj delete #?.o cd /src make cd /gl make cd /threeDKit delete #?.o make cd /demos/prog delete #?.exe cd /
you only need obj/svgalib.o to compile flury
gcc flurry.c -Wall -o flurry ../svgalib-1.4.3/obj/svgalib.o ../svgalib-1.4.3/obj/svgagl.o -I ../svgalib-1.4.3/src -I ../svgalib-1.4.3/gl -I ../svgalib-1.4.3/include -lauto -lm -D__USE_INLINE__
Obs you need 320x200 as mode in devs:Monitors/Radeon VSYNCMIN=60 MODE=320x200@60

I don?t like that whit Window and Mac, because I forget to delete old files I have no use for, as result the desktop does not look nice.
Is there not a ?.backdrop? file or some thing that describes what files to put on the desktop?
I think this file will be read if the devices is removed and reinserted or possibly busy for short period of time. Maybe a Arexx script can do it.

Yes this is normal, PC graphic card was designed for PC (x86), not for PowerPC.
You will find the same problem on the screens bitmap, her it was GBAR in 32bit.
Anyway 16bit graphics is horrible, now when I do graphic routines, I operate whit two color formats native and ARGB, normally on load time I convert all my images to native color format in the right pixel depth, this so I do simple copy pixel for pixel every thing.
