Forgot to add, EA are giving the original away, so all the game files would be available.

Based on SDL. Perhaps the author would permit an OS4 version. Maybe a very talented developer could port this for us, wink wink, nod, nod Spot. http://www.happypenguin.org/show?OpenRedAlertace

Yes, there is no PS5 for Amiga as yet, despite countless promises over the years. I am very disappointed with this.

Pystar vs Apple What if Pystar Wins?

What would this mean for Amiga Inc if Pystar win the Antitrust suit? I guess it would boil down to whoever owned the IP to the OS, which I believe Amiga have divested to Hyperion but tried to tie it to specific HW only approved licensed by AInc. Restraint of trade?

@orgin
I agree, also we have a few new developers who may get disuaded should some of their initial efforts be overlooked for download because of a poor or no star rating. Also sometimes it is just down to a matter of taste.

Listen carefully
1. Eat piglet. 2. Go North 3. Go West 4. Use key 5. Keep going, jump back fence and never return to such games again! -:)

PS Just jealous, I could never get anywhere in such games when starting using computers (VIC 20) AND still can't -:)

@Rogue
Thanks Rogue. My 2nd hand copy ($5AU) just arrived today, will give it a go over the weekend. You seem to be a little more relaxed in you posts of late, I just have a feeling you are enjoying (or have more time to "play" with) OS4 more at this stage. Thanks for your extra hard work.

It works fine for me atleast, but i rarely use my Amiga now a days though. Must get an accelerator board first to make it more fun to use.
So why bag Wookie? Or better still why comment on this thread? Why not encourage the author of Wookie rather than just condemn. I really do not get your logic. ace

Amigainput WarpSNES and amiNES

I have AmigaInput running fine under OS4 Final on my A1XE. The latest versions of WarpSNES and amiNES are supposed to support Amigainput but I cannot get my joypad recognised. I have deleted the respective config files but still no luck. Amigainput works fine for me in E-UAE and Hatari, would be nice to get these programs using it also.
Any ideas?

@Lio
Come on, the A1 has/had some issues but it is far from broken. I play many games with the current version of E-UAE (which Rich acknowledged has a memory "leak") at a very good speed, in fact I can't tell if they are slower than the originals in many cases.
You will be surprised how some software changes can improve things. Also remember with the A1 we wouldn't have AOS4.
I am sure you appreciate Rich's efforts across all "amigas".
Cheers ace
PS Let's clone Rich and have one per "amiga system" -:)
