@smf

I am trying to set clock and date permanently on my Workbench 4.1 and also eventually to change the bad behivior of my AmigaOne X5000's tower that tends to boot after two button presses ,not one.

I hope this can clear the situation for you.

I will try setclock reset.

I think yes because otherwise the Amiga 5000 would not function.

@levellord

Yeah it could help of course but the reason I buyed yesterday 13th June the battery was to fix the problem of turning on in two times.The clock issue is important but less.

Hope someone could help me with the double press to power on the AmigaOne X5000 in one time,is very important forr me to have the machine in perfect state.

Yeah I ran the Time Prefs and afjusted various times the time and date because since I changed battery days deadjust several times randomly.

In reality no because his Time Prefs window must be of Enhancer Software and I don't have this version.

It was a pin selector or similar near the battery and coin battery slot.Fundamental for the working state of my AmigaOne X5000.

Good advice you give me 328gts but after having my AmigaOne X5000 unusable yesterday for more than 5 minutes,I prefer for now to touch nothing,after touching the battery and releasing a red tiny plastic piece from its place

Hi

I've been in hell for 5 minutes because my AmigaOne X5000 didn't boot or showed Boing screen.The question was that I tried to change its battery to see if it adjusted better to the time settings,and then a tiny plastic red piece jumped to one card of the tower if I remember well.The thoughts of sending again to Amedia France or a local PC repair shop surrounded my mind but happily and with the presence of my mother desiring me luck we finally managed to show something on screen.

This was a lesson to me that with AmigaOne X5000 or any Amiga,things must be done carefully if not you can get caught in a nasty surprise.

Happy again that my AmigaOne X5000 resurrected.

@328gts

I think is the same model/type of battery (Maxwell).

I don't have a new battery,but after changing for an used one Workbench doesn't set correctly the time and date,that is a problem.

No,I am not sure what is the used battery polarity.

@levellord

Well,I tried AmigaInputAnywhere with SNES9X-OS4 and WarpSNES but no luck at all.I assigned the keys on AmigaInputAnywhere and made a new SNES9X config file and tried on both SuperNintendo emulators to configure the joypad but at this time it was inpossible to play Final Fight.

What can I do now?
