In your quake 3 directory you need a directory called baseQ3 which contains all the data files. Where have you put all the data files??
Not sure about how it works compared to different os updates,just checked that it worked.

So now i have set my drives a bit higher.

Which udma mode are you using on your a1? On my sil0680 i'm using udma mode 1.In the beginning i was using best pio,cos i had heard it might not work with udma on my SE. Offcourse pio mode is slow,so i tried experimenting. I set it to udma0,it worked,so a couple of days ago i set it to 1. When using ctorrent on best pio it used 100%cpu when creating the files on my hd,on udma1 it used only 50%,and it was quicker .. So i'll now try to set it to udma2 and see how it workes.

I had exact the same when i copied it now and tried it.

this is where i have quake3.
Progs:quake3/baseq3

If you do this:
Cli
Stack 1000000
Progs:quake3/baseq3
execute q3

Nothings happens. So i copied quake3 and q3 to progs:quake3
From quake3 directory i execute q3... And voila,it started. But i think i was stort on ram cos the textures were kinda strange,about 150mb free ram only.

I have i picture i need to edit a bit. Is there a program that works under os4 and supports 24bit gfx that i can use? Something similar to dpaint etc.?

Well,hehe! Fixed it now. :) There is a view mode,which i must have done something with. hehe!

I'm using ib 2.4 that came with os4. It used to work,suddenly it won't. Strange,as i tried to restart the amiga,worked fine until i logged in. The cache is in Ram:t/
