Hi all,

My RGB to PAL/NTSC adapter project is ready for sale. Full and comprehensive details, including photos are on my website:

http://www.amigamaniac.com

I'm selling them fully assembled from AUD$30 (no connectors), for Amiga & non-Amiga applications, to AUD$33 for a fully assembled and tested unit ready to use on an Amiga - just plug it in!

It outputs both Composite and S-Video.

My website is fully stocked again...

Hi All,

It's been a while, as I have been busy with non-Amiga things...

My website is now fully stocked again, with some new stuff added too.

I have added AM27C2048 EPROMS, for those A3000 users with older M.B. revisions that don't have a "ROM tower", and want to upgrade to KS 3.1. I now offer free stickers to go with all EPROMS too - looks a bit nicer.

There's also a CPU and FPU in the "Miscellaneous" section, and some stick on heatsinks.

Also, I have put the prices down on most stock, in some cases by as much as AUD$5.

Anyhow, have a look if you haven't visited my site for awhile! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me

He haw! There's always one, and it's usually me Still, I had a laugh everytime I checked the post for a reply, so at least it entertained me

I did some research on where the term came from. There are several sources. I couldn't really identify the first people/person to use it. Some info about software bugs on Wikipedia - the world's most reliable source of information Worth a read.

@TSK

Hey, if OS4.1 has bugs in it, couldn't you just get rid of them with some insect spray or something?

@Kicko

Strangely enough, I lived in Targoviste - that was where Vlad's home castle was. I visited the ruins and park a fair bit, as it was in easy walking distance from our apartment. The tower is still there, where vlad would view his impaled victims which had been arranged in nice geometric patterns. Yes, he was nuts!

@Antique

I lived in Romania for a few years, so I prefer snow in December! It's really starting to heat up now, and the sun here is much stronger than in Europe - probably partly due to the hole in the ozone layer! I remember I could stay outside for hours in Romania and not get sunburned. It only take 30-45 minutes here

Why yes, I do have some Amiga HW I have an A500 (and a spare A500 M.B), an A600, and an A1200 M.B. I also have a GVP HD+ SCSI controller for the A500, which has a CD-ROM and another HD connected to it (a newish 68 pin model with adapter). I also have an AlfaData/BSC IDE HD controller for my A500. I have ROM switchers for my A500 and A600 - my own design. I also run my Amiga's from my custom made cables using a standard ATX PSU - the original brick was getting flaky

Anyhow, it's getting late here, so I should go to bed soon!

If you want to know more about me, just visit my website, and you'll see what I've been up to
