Is it good/bad/useful to feed the A1200 mobo from PSU to floppy connector if you use a Mediator with BPPC?

First try just "BlizKick *" and then with a ROM-image file in DEVS:Kickstarts. See if the red screen problem persists.

OK i tried it out and it went like this:

1. commented out all USB-entries in Kicklayout
2. removed USBCtrl START (or similar) in Startup-sequence
3. installed Poseidon v4.2 package
4. rebooted...

and Voila! My Subway is working nicely under OS4.0

What's still got me wondering is that do I need to comment out any USB entries in Kicklayout? Or edit Startup-sequence?

FINALLY!

Yesterday i installed OS4 on my classic with Mediator TX. Voodoo3 card didn't show up yet, but after installing the february update i could finally use it! No more Elbox drivers with Voodoo on OS4.

Thanks for the info about warposemu! Will try them games on OS4.0 instead 3.9 for better performance :).

Hi and great that you have such pristine condition PPC laying around :). I'd recommend using OS 3.1-3.9 as your main OS and if you want to experiment, get & install AmigaOS 4.0 aswell (you'll want to get a graphics card). MorphOS is available too, i never installed that myself (yet).

If you want to have a tft/lcd -monitor for all screenmodes and use flicker-free screenmodes, get a scandoubler/flickerfixer. But if you want to go "old-school", just connect your miggy to a big TV with an Amiga-compatible RGB-scart cable.

Yeah and maybe make the Radeon 9200 series Warp3D-driver working

Haven't had time. I'm near graduation and gotta concentrate less on Miggy at this time i'm afraid.

But after all the school sh*t it's testing time !

I will try different jumper settings too and disabling only Voodoo.chip or PCIGrahics.card. Maybe we'll pinpoint the problem .

EDIT: i'll also try swapping the Voodoo 3 to another PCI-slot to see if that makes any difference.

What more could we do to help track down the problem that's causing the OS4 from not booting with the graphic drivers?

Okies i copied the Mixer off the MM_CD and now i can hear the AHI-test beep sound. Only thing that happens (in OS 3.9 too) is one audiomode badly distorted: FM801: 8bit stereo ++. Anyone with this same audio problem? Hardly ever use that mode anyway but still.
