Wow, a coding competition! Could this kind of competition be promoted to other fields, f.ex., web browsers? BTW, good work to both of you, Xeron and Lazi! Saluditos, Ferr?n.

@AJS
Yes, that's what I thought too, the original and unique "Amiga Computer Inc.", co-founded by Jay Miner and Dave Morse. The current one is not even a clone but a fake replica "made in China"...

Now it shows what seems to be an emergency front end, since any of the links work, no news, no forums...
@orgin
Thanks for the info, I didn't know. It would be good to add it to the Amigans IRC info page, just in case it happens again.

Thanks for the info. Now I know I need one of those joystick2MIDI cables for my SB Live, so I'll try to get one locally. If I can't get it, I'll try on eBay. Thanks again.

Hmm, I have a Roland SoundCanvas SC-55 and a Casio HT-3000 MIDI keyboard that I have used a lot with my A1200 and a proper home-made serial MIDI interface, but now I don't know what kind of interface would I need to hook that equipment to my A1. Any hint, link, images, etc. would be appreciated...

Regarding removability, if we are talking about those CF2IDE adapters one can find on eBay, IIRC even on their eBay pages they warn against removing de CF card, so , as TetiSoft says, they supposedly lie regarding the status of the card, reporting it as non-removable: if they'd reported them as removable shouldn't be any problem, don't you think so?
If we talk about Classic (A1200), yes, they can be removed, I have swapped my eth ernet card and my CF2PCMCIA card adapter more times than I can remember...

@Swisso Quote: It is 1.3Ghz, it is not over clocked and I don't recommend you over clock yours. My old module was running at 933mhz for over a year and then died, I don't think they are very robust cpus compared to most others. Was it a 800MHz CPU o/c to 933, or was it a real 933Mhz one? I ask because mine is real 933MHz one, I upped it from the original, downclocked 800MHz from the start, just as I received the board, first with the original Tt fan, now with a super-efficient Zalman VF-900, but always without a glitch for more than THREE years running 24/7, crunching dnetc/RC-72 keys night and day. @MamePPCA1 Once you have configured youtube script for IBrowse, it usually takes several mins to start (iirc, it downloads the full movie before playing it), so be patient. Other than that, describe step by step what you do when configuring so we can spot where the error is. You can find more info here, here and here. Saluditos, Ferr?n.

@goody
The same estimates that made USA government say there were WMD in Iraq and then invade it? The same estimates that made USA government say Saddam was helping Bin Laden and then invade Iraq? The same estimates that made Bush say the Iraq war was going to be short and then Iraq would be a peaceful country? The guys in charge of estimates in your government should be fired, they are not very reliable at all, I'd say...
Saddam was just as dictator in the end of his days as he was in the beginning, but USA government had no problem in supporting and finance his army and war against Iran when that was OK with USA interests. The Iraqi people was suffering Saddam atrocities in the beginning as much as it did lately (or even worse, with some villages gassed with weapons sold by USA, more than 5000 people killed), but then it seems it was no problem to USA government to be the best friend of the dictator. How many Iranians were killed with guns and bombs supplied to Iraqi dictator by USA goverment? Could this be considered an USA "act of war" against Iran?
Oh, and, as a side-note, the list of dictators supported by different USA governments in different countries and periods could fill a wall, including the Iranian dictator Shah Mohammed Reza Palhavi. They did even in MY country.
And, oh, what a coincidence, it's not an extremely poor Central-African country with a dictator the one to be invaded, oh, no, it's one of the countries with more oil (third country in oil reserves and second in gas reserves) under their feet. What a coincidence...
Sorry, but it looks to me like just another excuse to invade just another country.
Saluditos,
Ferr?n.
