I believe the more important today than CPU power, is the PCI buss be changed to PCIe and a CPU slot in the board.

If any company make a board with a CPU with the 604e Power it is ok, if it have the option of a CPU slot to the people use more one or 2 CPU in the bard plus the original, and if it have a actual PCIe interface to the people use actual and cheap GPUs.

like the classic amiga, the 68020 from a1200 is very slow, the people buyed it think in put a 68040 or 68060 in the past.

It is the falt of atual boards.

But do you look about the if the GPU M9 is using the radeon 9250 GPU to process the graphics too ?

for example, use the monitor output from M9 GPU and use some graphis bechmarks test program to look the GPU performance.

test with the 9250 pluged in the board, and with out it pluged in the board to look if the result is the same or if it is best with the 9250 pluged in the board.

with this we can know if the GPU work or not in team like a kind of crossfire.

I understand what you want talk about.

The CPU is not so power, but the all system use best the CPU and controlers, and all componentes and make a good performance.

It can be.

just for example.

Just remember the amiga classic A500 vrs a DX486, the 486 CPU is much more power than a motorola 68000, but the amiga 500 is more fast to day to day use and much other tasks than a 486.

Now I am wondering if it work too with the sam440ep-flex with a 66Mhz PCI plus the 33Mhz PCI dual card on.

Se second card will loose performance, but is a little more than just one card.

From the acube user manual, sam440ep have a 66mhz PCI slot.

You can use it with a PCI card without loose performance.

If I not wrong it can work the on-board and the off-board card in parallel. the 2 card together if you use the apropriated driver.

I never test it, not have a sam440ep, but maybe work fine

I am not yet with a sam440 for have a 100% surre answer, but for your informations, I believe, presum, the program when close mantain garbage in the video card memory. And to make bigger the proglem, If I am not wrong the OS use partial the video memory if it have more than 128MB.

you need a program to clean the memory after the program end.

A long time a go I make to 68k OS a tool to clean all memory when a problematic aplication END and to cleam virus memory resident programs, maybe I will port it to the new AmigaOS when I have a sam440.

maybe you found this program in aminet for 68k, icememo If I am not confused, mistacked, it have long time.

The problem to found PCI cards is that, if you put PCI in the browser`s search engine, it return billions of PCI Express cards.

I believe it is availabe, I found in new egg the HIS HD2400 PRO PCI.

Maybe if a big store contact HIS IT can have this card to sell to the comunity.

I found a nvidia 5600Fx PCI too, I not like nvidia but it is a powerfull card vrs radeon 9250.

It have more power or less power than a G3 for example ?
