Hi All, I had best inform anyone who may be thinking of attending our forthcoming meeting this weekend. Sunday 9th of December 2012 This weekend is our christmas meeting and we are planning a food and games fest. Starting off we will be having a xmas meal at our usual venue, this will primarily consist of Pizza, but other stuff may be delivered  This will be followed by our traditional gaming session, which could comprise of anything from worms to skidmarks, sensible golf or anything that is multiplayer. So, if you are intending to come this weekend, you are more than welcome but please bring some money with you to order food or else you may just have to sit there and watch us explode!!! MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT : We're proud to announce that Vintage Computer Festival GB will become a part of a new, bigger, better event for 2013. The dates are the 5th-7th July - the NEW festival and hosting venue will be announced before Christmas. The new festival will be the first of its kind - one for everyone, from families to gamers. We're really excited, and we think you will be too. The new event WILL be the first of its kind. Keep those dates free as you won't be disappointed! I must say how disappointed I feel at the lack of news regarding the Netbook.
We need to get more people back into the AmigaOS platform and at the projected price, the Amiga Netbook would bring people back.
Sadly, it seems that there either isn't the will or most likely, the finance to bring the project to fruition.

I too have a MicroA1 with only 256 ram, but I find that Timberwolf is usable. I must get myself more ram soon! Its not that expensive on ebay.

When I had Samba installed it was set up so that I could access the Amiga partitions from the PC.
