Re: ShowFiles (sf) 0.970 released on OS4Depot.net

@Marko

Installed the latest 0.980 version.

Thank you for the SETBLACKBG option, it works well.

Small donation sent for your work...

Just 2 points :

1) in previous version, there were a footer counting the files and size of the whole list. Is it an option to restore it ?

2) SETBLACKBG works great except for file comments.
Is it an option to remove the comments OR to set comments background like list background ?

Thank you

Of course, I am still active.
I worked a lot on OS4 since few months but not on zTools

@Samir
Yes, me too I didn't have problem but a french user reported me some musical videos that failed. And right, Ricardo fixed it few days ago in his latest svn build. What a great guy !

If you recently encountered problem to read some YouTube videos with SMTube, please update to this new version

SMTube 16.1.0 svn7364 on OS4Depot & AmiUpdate

* Fix the signature code

note : I forgot to modify the binary timestamp (still 15-12-06) but version number is well updated to 16.1.0, therefore AmiUpdate works.

I just edited the glslang-master/CMakeCache.txt file to add

CMAKE_C_COMPILER:FILEPATH=/GCC/bin/gcc
CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER:FILEPATH=/GCC/bin/g++

cmake seems to be ok but gmake failed for an inexistant m4sugar.m4

Like the one with "chrono does not name a type" ?

I will send a mail to deadwood even if I don't have any experience of cross-compilation (and of C++ ;))

At exit, when Odyssey window is just closed, I often have a requester saying something like "Wait until child end. Webcore file..."

Sorry, I wanted to grab the window but it closed itself.
This problem occurs with OS4Depot version or now with your latest build.

Thanks

I finally got it.

Sort of working.
It complains many times before to begin to download and when download is complete, the file is neither in RAM: nor in T:.

Hi Varthall,
thank you, you should have find the problem.
I installed the setup-x86_64.exe instead of setup-x86.exe.

I will retry later to install.

Thank you again :)

Cygwin cross-compiler problem
Just can't stay away
Just can't stay away

Hi,
Trying to install a cygwin cross-compiler by following instructions from Kas1e ( http://kas1e.mikendezign.com/zerohero ... p/cross-compiler_os4.html ) I encounter a problem.

No output are displayed and overall no compilation is done when I start ppc-amigaos-gcc.

I tried months ago on Windows 7 & 8 and encountered the exact same problem.
Now, under Windows 10, I deleted/reinstalled a fresh Cygwin but it still fails.

Is somebody encountered this problem ?

Thank you for your help
Guillaume

@Kas1e
As building a cross-compiler system seems to be a real pain, could you share your Linux system (in ISO format) ?

Because, if you left Amiga world (as all normal man should do) we will not be able to build Odyssey again.

PS : if you are around, you could reply, too, to my another question about OWB mediaplayer, by politeness...
