For those having problems getting updates recognised, enable the "Verbose Log" option, do a scan, and check the log. It should show you enough information to determine why it's not doing what it is expected to.

Something must have gone wrong there. I have a Pegasos2 and i'm sure it's supported.

I'm not very familiar with how amiupdate & appdir works yet but as i said earlier. if i run appdir:amigaamp3 from a shell amigaamp3 starts so the path must be correct i think. But i will mess with it again tonight just to show that i'm not some ignorant guy who doesn't listen to the suggestions ;)

What bothers me is that if i have snoopy running and executes an update within Amiupdate i can see how it searches for alot of applications and files but there's no entry for Amigaamp3 at all.

It's because you have probably renamed the program executable. AmigaAMP is registered at the AmiUpdate server with the executable name "AmigaAMP3". When an update becomes available, the program scans AppDir: for the path to file AmigaAMP3 - if you have renamed it, the file is never found so AmiUpdate assumes that AmigaAMP is not installed in your system.

No i haven't renamed Amigaamp3. i have an entry for amigaamp3 in envarc:appdir but i have no appdir: Am i supposed to have an appdir: ?

AmigaAmp3 isn't in my list of compatible installed programs in amiupdate but running appdir:amigaamp3 from shell works. Nice, i didn't know about this appdir thing before but still amiupdate didn't update it for me and it's not listed.

You mean you can't get the custom screen title to work?
If so you might have the env-var "workbenchtitle" set to deactivate it because it looks like #OOPS# :)

Anyway, i can't find anything wrong with the latest dopus.library, i have tested everything that i usualy use in magellan plus a little more and it works. Thanks itix and kas1e

Another (maybe related) problem that is when you go into the enviroment prefereces and into the miscellangeous tab and choose a custom screen title with the requester and press ok. This problem is only within the 0S4 library.

Here's another one for you to fix ;)

1.Create a new graphics button from the menu.
2. Select to edit the button.
3. Click Edit Function
4. Click on the "select command" button
5. select a random command and press ok - > now you get an dsi.

The problem is within the gcc dopus5.library(but it crashed somewhat different with the 68k gcc library) works with the original one.

*edit* the problem seems to be there anytime you bring up the select command window

I get an DSI when using drag & drop to copy files.
It only happens with the OS4 library.
It's easy to reproduce (on my machine atleast) just drag & drop a file between two listers :D

If it's stable just release it :)
I doubt that i would use a ppc version much on my peg2 but maybe in the future as i plan to buy os4.1 for my classic and i'm quite sure that owb would feel quite slow on that hw. I mainly surf amigaforums so ibrowse works quite well for me.
