Anyone who knows what would be required for Hyperion to directly support qemu with OS4.x? Besides lacking the will to do it that is. An official OS4.x on A.l.i.c.e. without having to go through classic emulation would be nice.
License issue perhaps?

Reminder to anyone using the Contact option

I'd like to remind everyone that when you use the "Contact" link on OS4Depot then your message is completely anonymous unless you provide some way of replying in the content of your message, such as your email address.
I often get Contact messages on OS4Depot with requests and questions but with no information on how to reply to the messages.
Sometimes people provide a name or an alias, but frankly I don't have time to scour the internet to find a way to contact the supplied names or aliases.
So please, if you use the contact link to send OS4Depot a message, then don't forget to supply a way to reply if you expect an answer.

There have never been "accounts" on os4depot. There's a lot misinformation on how moderation on OS4Depot works and it would be nice if people stopped creating their on personal (un)reality around this issue and instead just asked me how it works.
Anyway, people doesn't seem to want anonymous uploads on OS4Depot and this is the result.
Either people accept anonymous uploads or people accept more control. There can't be both.

The main problem is that there are no point of contact for the "Uploader" files. This way there's at least some way to get in contact when there is a problem with an archive.
And if it's still not possible to get in contact with the email once a problem arises then the email address will simply be invalidated requiring any subsequent uploads to have a validated email.

@Marko
Once every year. If you validate it today you have to validate it in a year, regardless of how many files you upload in between.

I found a block that displays the recent images. Added it to the right side of the images page. It doesn't display the images themselves though.

I checked the module configuration and there aren't any obvious ways or sorting the contents on that page that I could find.

An update for the "uploader" situation...
I've now updated the rules for uploading files as well as added new functionality to the administration interface. All new uploads must now be provided with a valid email address.
File approvers will not be able to approve files with a non validated email address.
Email addresses must first be validated manually. This will be in the form of a staff member sending an email to the specified address and once a valid reply is received the address can be validated and the file approved.
Email addresses will be considered as valid for one year. That is, any files being uploaded within this window won't require a new validation. Once passing the one year limit the email address will have to be validated again for any subsequent uploads.
Files being uploaded with an invalid address, an obfuscated address or an address that does not return a valid response will be removed.
Note: This does not mean that your email address have to be public. You can still use the checkbox to make you email address private.

@jabirulo
The tag does not affect the Filer itself. It passes on the tag as an argument to an executable. In this case a font requester is opened and the selected font is passed on as a string to the specified program.

Can't remember exactly what I made it do. Try to make a button that echos the result to a shell or writes it to a file.
As for when to use it, I just added it because diropus had/has that specific tag so I guess it's up to the imagination of the user ;)

Not really getting anywhere here.
Anyway I'm going to try to find time to make an administrative addition to OS4Depot where I can store verified email addresses.
Once that is done the system will check the email of all new uploads against the verified list. If it's not in there then the email address will have to be verified before the file can be approved.
