Well, I cannot imagine how you want to download the whole AmigaKit store

You are to be congratulated Sir!

What a fantastic piece of software! It installed so easily and found my AmigaForever. There is so much on there.

My Pal, Richard, out West is using this every day and he said it's better than any big box Amiga he ever had.

I also bought my A600 memory/clock from you and it is a very nice bit of kit - excellent value.

How you find time to develop something as lavish as this [/b]and[/b] run a super on-line store is a miracle!

I have always used, and probably always will use PPMore. Not too fancy, it just does what I need it to do and does it well.

This is an interesting PDF.

Unfortunately, while it has answered some questions I had about AmigaNG, it has created many more unanswered ones.

First of all (I know the Samamtha is not out yet but some people here have alluded to it being available this month or next) are any of the other boards available?

Are they shipping with OS4 yet?

Are they licensed by Amiga Inc. ?

They all seem to be powerful from my perspective - do we need all this power?

Sorry if I am asking too many questions - I have read all the topics on this site and I havn't found the answers to these questions.

Hi All,

I know it's not Amiga Related... It's still Tech...

I have currently a HP iPaq with Tomtom5 loaded and a bluetooth GPS device...
It worked great, and I never got lost (copared to the AANavigator which got me lost more than one...).

Some of the features I like is:
1.> Update of the POI & Speed Cameras Location using POI-edit on the PC... Free of charge !
2.> Add new POI (like Park, Cinema, Castle, Petrol Station,...
3.> Easy to use and quick to "replan" if you missed your turn or to find an alternative route.
4.> Works on battery or Car Charger -- I want to avoid cables all over the place while driving...

Now I left it in my car turned off for too long, the battery discharged itself and it lost all its settings (especially to reconnect to the GPS Device). So far I didn't managed for Tomtom to recognise the GPS anymore tough the PDA itself recognise it (but when I enable the connection, no error, it show 0 bytes sent or received)...

So I'm planning in buying a new system...

I'm looking at the Garmin Nuvi 310D (with Traffic Update for life ?!), the Road Angel Navigator 6000, and the TomTom ONE GB (I don't like much the look of it)...

Which one would you recommend, and which one should I avoid ?

Another Bug or was it already listed... 14 pages of thread is a bit much to go through...

Go to http://amigans.net/modules/newbb/viewpost.php
Then click on [Previous TOPIC] or on [Next TOPIC]... You get an error ("Error: TOPIC NOT SELECTED" which make sense I guess, but it would be better if you were redirectred to the Home page or something...)...

//Edit1 :Edit Test number 1
//Edit2 :Edit Test number 2
... Well it doesn't seem to show that I edited this message twice... it used to show it IIRC ?

I am happy to announce that the development staff have installed the Members module which can be used to search for a particular user registered on this site.

It can be found on the Main Menu and features a list of options you can use to search for a member on this site.

Many thanks to the site admins/devs for their hard work.

@poweramiga

(and to spite Outcast)

90 And Going Strong

A 90-year-old man said to his doctor, "I've never felt better. I have an 18-year old bride who is pregnant with my child. What do you think about that?"

The doctor considered his question for a minute and then said, "I have an elderly friend who is a hunter and never misses a season. One day when he was going out in a bit of a hurry, he accidentally picked up his umbrella instead of his gun. When he got to the Creek, he saw a rabbit sitting beside the stream. He raised his umbrella and went, 'bang, bang' and the rabbit fell dead. What do you think of that?"

The 90-year-old said, "I'd say somebody else killed that rabbit."

The doctor replied, "My point exactly."

That one. I didn't try it hough, with all ports closed there was no motivation to set this up. BTW: here in campus an average clean life of stock unpatched/unservicepacked freshly installed windblows 2k/xp is 2 minutes after setting the network up.
