@thread News from Pianeta Amiga: [afxgroup] and i have also compiled OWB [afxgroup] the SDL browser [afxgroup] but all is black.. even if the program is running and events catched.. [afxgroup] i have joined the OWB mailing list and all developers are really friendly [afxgroup] so it is possible we can have it in a few... http://www.sand-labs.org/owb/ -- this is the browser that afxgroup is porting. Its based on WebKit, the same technology that Sputnik is being ported from, but the abstraction work is mostly already done I think. "WebKit is an open source web browser engine. WebKit is also the name of the Mac OS X system framework version of the engine that's used by Safari, Dashboard, Mail, and many other OS X applications. WebKit's HTML and JavaScript code began as a branch of the KHTML and KJS libraries from KDE. This website is also the home of S60's S60 WebKit development." Introducing OWB browser: http://www.linuxdevices.com/articles/AT5894497943.htmlPictures from Pianeta Amiga: http://www.lightelements.com/asa/inde ... _amiga|2007|03-SAM440-OS4Screenshots of Bourriquet, a peer2peer file sharing program, based on eMule. http://www.amigasoft.net/misc/bourriquet/bourriquet.pnghttp://www.amigasoft.net/misc/bourriquet/search.png.. I will post more news as it becomes available.

@Rudei
So I replaced the battery and fiddled with the connections on the motherboard for the keyboard and mouse.
This seems to have done the trick for now, may need to get those connections looked at, at some stage.
For now (touch wood) I have myself a working AmigaOne - although having some degree of difficulty with the UBOOT settings but I'm sure I'll work it out.
Thank you for all of your suggestions people. Kind Regards, Rude!

@Swisso Quote: It is 1.3Ghz, it is not over clocked and I don't recommend you over clock yours. My old module was running at 933mhz for over a year and then died, I don't think they are very robust cpus compared to most others. Was it a 800MHz CPU o/c to 933, or was it a real 933Mhz one? I ask because mine is real 933MHz one, I upped it from the original, downclocked 800MHz from the start, just as I received the board, first with the original Tt fan, now with a super-efficient Zalman VF-900, but always without a glitch for more than THREE years running 24/7, crunching dnetc/RC-72 keys night and day. Saluditos, Ferr?n.

@TSK
You could also try with -vsync instead of -hsync or both:
MODE=1680x1050@60-vsync MODE=1680x1050@60-hsync-vsync
Or maybe changing to 59 or 61 Hz will help.

@TSK
Do you still have a Picasso96Settings file in devs? If you do rename it or delete it, even if it's commented out in the monitor tooltypes it will still be found and used which will mess things up if it has the default name.

Take a gander. Do they take us for idiots? (Yes, obviously they do.) Could you imagine if there were 4 or 5 CPU design companies out there competing for desktops all doing the same crap? After all, they still make many of their preceding CPUs also. Lets's just stick with the CPUs we CAN get, even if it's only 3 or 4 different ones.

Support Amiga Fantasy cases!!! How to program: 1. Start with lots and lots of 0's. 10. Add 1's, liberally. "Details for OS 5 will be made public in the fourth quarter of 2007, ..." - Bill McEwen Whoah!!! He spoke, a bit late.

Quote: It take approx. 40 secs here to fully loaded WB (and all docks and so on). But I have a lot of stuff in WBStartup, user-startup and AmiDock. (I have that "run addnetinterface" in S-S.) List of WBStartup: AISS, FuelGauge, StartTunenet, SGrab, Wet, AutoUpdateWB, CapsLockStater, TitleClock, BenchTrash, RAWBInfo, DefIcons, AsyncWB, AmiDock, ClickToFront, DepthToFront, ContextMenus, DiskImageGUI. I have two visible dock panels and three hidden ones.

Hi @salass00 I got an answer from Antec and it seems the warranty was still in force the month that I made the support ticket with them, so now I just need to get the PSU posted to them and they should send me a replacement
Glad to hear you're covered by warranty. I hope to get my A1 up and running about the time you get your microA1 going!
