No, he hasn't.
The only numeric key to work is the number five.

Some one suggested running a wordworth prefs program, but I was unable to change the default behavior. :(

That's the same error I had prior to copy the pngalpha.library AND pngalpha.l.main from my OS4 install.

I possess a Sam Flex. I have the last version 1.19.

Any new version or new software.

The latest version on OS4Depot is v1.9, not 1.19.

I had v1.20 installed, and have just downloaded v1.9.
All I had to do was to install pngalpha.library, and everything seems to run ok.
PNG_icon_editor even told me I had not got pngalpha.library installed.

I tried scaling one of the sample 46x46 icons to 92x92, and it worked fine, added a glow and that worked fin.

On Wikipedia, the File size limit of iso9660, is 2gb or 4gb, but I can't find out a maximum disc size.

Also I would like to know how sucha blu-ray writer would be connected to you Amiga?
Do we have usb drivers for external optical drives, let alone Blu-ray drives?
Are any blue-ray drives ide compatible?

The only way I can get it to look 100% correct (and without special Screens settings for Wordworth) is to disable the "<<Default>>" option in Screens's "Defined screens list". Is that how yours is? If not, what are your settings for "<<Default>>"?

Have you tried adding open screen to screen prefs, once Wordworth screen is running? Then you can tweek screens prefs for wordworth.
Wordworth on my system has looked better and better with each OS4 update.

My Wordworth Screen prefs:-

Display:
Title - Wordworth Screen
Screen mode - Radeon 9250:1920x1200 ARGB32
Apply - Always
Font - Dejavu Sans/13
Apply - Never

GUI:
Settings - Like Workbench
Use GUI Pens - Never

Palette:
Settings - Like Workbench
Use defined colours - Always

Hope that helps.

I must admit to being foolish. I added the assigns to Libs: and Fonts: and satisfied myself that Wordworth started and ran OK. I didn't think of loading an old document or testing it.

When I came to load an old document or even to type in the box, I soon discovered that nothing is displayed. The cursor moves normally, but no text appears - it's as though it were white text on a white background.

I am not sure "assigns" will work. I actually copied the following files from my OS4.1 partition, and everything seems to work OK.

Quote:
Libs/digitafont.library
Libs/digitaintellifont.library
Libs/digitapostscript.library
Libs/digitatruetype.library
Fonts/WW_LasejetIII_CG_Times
Fonts/WW_LasejetIII_Line_Printer
Fonts/WW_LasejetIII_Univers
Fonts/WW_PS_Palatino
Fonts/WW_STANDARD_PICA
Prefs/Env-Archive/Wordworth/

You don't need to copy them to the system disk. Just add the line "Assign Add Fonts: Wordworth7/WwFonts" to user-startup. Same for the WW Libs, you only need to copy the Wordworth folder into EnvArc:.

WwFonts does not contain the WW_ fonts, and the digita librarys are not kept anywhere in the Wordworth Directory, so those assigns wouldn't achieve anything.
The fonts and Libs are installed to the system partition by Wordworth itself, so I left them there.

You just need to copy some fonts: from your previous OS4 backup partition and also an environment directory, envarc:wordworth.

The following are required to update your sys:partition to run wordworth:-
Quote:
Libs/digitafont.library
Libs/digitaintellifont.library
Libs/digitapostscript.library
Libs/digitatruetype.library
Fonts/WW_LasejetIII_CG_Times
Fonts/WW_LasejetIII_Line_Printer
Fonts/WW_LasejetIII_Univers
Fonts/WW_PS_Palatino
Fonts/WW_STANDARD_PICA
Prefs/Env-Archive/Wordworth/

Just copy accross from your OS4.1 partition.

Of course it does, everything that worked with 4.1 should work with update 1.

Not so....
I keep getting GR's with compose.task in intuition.library, when running Turbocalc.
I don't know if it is Turbocalc, Petunia or intuition update.

I have TCalc set up in a dock, and it seems to lock up more often running from there than directly from the program icon. So it may be an Amidock problem.

@JosDuchIt

Workbench is a program, not a physical location (Win & Mac).

When I have left icons out, they have disappeared on the next re-boot.
So I think left-out is just for the current session.

I have Turboprint v7.0 set up in WBStartup.prefs, and it works fine, but when I try to print from Notepad my whole sytem (A1XE G3-800) locks up.
------- snip -------

A bit of a pain as I now have to cold reboot after printing any text

The problem is that Turboprint is the only decent printing system available for OS4, and so many people use it!!

I can't work out what has changed, because replacing the components with the OS4 versions does not solve the problem.
My Turboprint install is the same one on both OS4 versions (on Work2:), and trying the OS4 drivers and mountlists doesn't help.
