I'm doing a comparative document between AmigaOS and Windows in the past.
I would need small ideas to compare the 2 systems at the same date of course.
Like:
1990: AmigaOS2.0 premptive multitasking <=> Windows 3 no multitasking.

The goal is to say that at this time, Amiga was superior.

What I miss for example is how many colors max both system could display, sound channels ... etc.

Here are my pictures from Pianeta Amiga directly from my photo camera...

They are not of great quality because I couldn't bring my Sony camera.


The Sam440 Flex was shown ... yes, running AmigaOS 4.1! It was running *exactly* like on the Sam440.

There were not many people unfortunately. I wonder what Amigans want.
Coming to Amiga shows is another way of developing the platform, exactly like writing software, contributing to magazines (paper or online)...etc.

Could you add a space character somewhere in the arguments line (FROM/M....). It breaks the layout of the browser (well under Chrome at least).

you need diskcache.library.kmod in your kicklayout file.
Also, your partition must be set with blocks of 512 bytes.

Chrome is the Firefox killer.
FF3 is so slooow compared to Chrome. Wow, in 6 months for now, we won't hear FF mentioned anymore....

I removed "4.x" from the OS that can use the software and I added "PPC". We want to work for the future (PPC) or for the past (68k) ?

I would like to setup a new project. For a start, I think we should choose a relatively easy one: enhancing the datatypes system.
This is one feature that gives its identity to AmigaOS so let's move it forward.

List of required features:

- streaming
- new datatypes (vector graphics?)

I would like to propose a few things.

1) all projects made in this new organization must follow the same licence. This is to make things easier for everyone.

2) as we can't waste our time, let's choose one that already exists as a base. This licence should allow OS4 to use it so Mozilla Public Licence.

3) Maybe we can add one more rule to MPL:

Only AmigaOS PPC can use the software developed by the organisation. The goal being that I don't want M$ to steal any work done here (as they did in the past).

Anybody against these points?
