I guess it's back to IBrowse for me

But well done on continuing development of this much needed OS4 application.

erm! ... are you saying that you were using OWB on Classic for everyday browsing?

ok now i have no error running OWB from shell.

But ... it would be better to complete your good doc with the creation of the bold, italics etc with TypeManager.

Thanks for your good guide!

150 dosbuffers on a ~30 GB partition? no way!

@TiredOfLife

you have to download (now link removed) the core font archive ... overwrite your already installed arial, cyberbit, verdana .ttf fonts ... otherwise you will get that yellow alert and DSI

@Spirantho

erm .. Deneb is a ZorroIII USB 2.0 card made by E3B (not Elbox)

Beeing Poseidon AmigaOS4 compatible (with some tweaking) probably it will work.

erm! not ... well it is not an AmigaOS ...

btw ... give me even a mere 400 Mhz with a fast rambus and we will rule the world! (with AOS4 i mean)

@Swoop

SFX is a very complex app.

I did follow the developement (and helped Stefan) about an issue with the Repulse card. (not supported ATM by OS4)

Today i got ProStationAudio 5.05 68K working as well (with an issue loading MP3, under investigation)

What is impressive about SFX is the speed under emulation.

"BUT...... after copying across the above from the Progdir: to sys: It runs again.
I have just loaded an MP3 file, but I had to set the output to AHI instead of Amiga14bit, to get it to play."

of course Swoop, AOS 4 uses AHI for Paula

@benny

i didn't anything but using the already installed SFX (shared between AmigaOS3.9 and MOS for PowerUP) and copying the above mentioned component that btw, are always been in SYS: and NOT in PROGDIR:Libs (but sfxsupport)

SoundFX 4.3.95 (31-Mar-2005)
16bit/64bit for 68060/FPU ? 1993-2004 by Stefan Kost

btw ... just noticed thats the 060 version ... great!

@benny

copy from your AmigaOS3.x installation the following libs

confgio.library
listtools.library
unitconv.library

and the fonts

ButtonGliphMedium

both descriptors/bitmaps .otag and .font

and the trinomic family

Trinomic
TrinoimicSign

How it works? ... no clue, still testing ... but it works

wow... is faaast!

@tboeckel

Thore, could a wrong Locale/clock/year settings screws the authentication with the server?

Does YAM2.5 handle this differently than 2.4?

Re: YAM 2.5 error sending messages

@MamePPCA1

erm, sorry for the rude answer but i've switched to YAM2.5 since years and i don't remember to have faced great problems switching from 2.4 to 2.5.

Can you repeat step by step what you did and where have you installed the new 2.5 version?

And try to comment out the YAM2.4 assign (i know what Thore have said but it worth a try)

First i did a backup of the whole 2.4 directory (to be safe) then i copied all the new 2.5 archive inside the 2.4 one (there are better way to do this but hey, anyway you have a backup)

Started YAM 2.5, thats promptly asked to convert ALL the mail files to the new 2.5 format

Then check if all the personal data are parsed correctly to the Preferences and the save.

ATM i don't remember any particular issue but (maybe, don't remember well) retype manually the user and password strings
