That's good advice. I've added a slight more to the description. And, if anyone is interested here, this is just a stock Sam460 and no changes were made for this video except putting the graphics details to high within the demo settings.

I agree completely with Chris. My opinion is to stay completely away from both Amiga Inc., and Commodore USA.

From my personal observance, I've seen similar behaviors from both of them. They seem to care most about attracting investor and licensing funds, and can get paid when everyone else in their deals lose money. So I hope you don't become a victim or become someone they can use during an ill intentioned agenda.

Also, I found it very odd when I uploaded Amiga videos to Youtube. Some people started spamming CommodoreUSA advertisements in the comments section, and some of those same spam accounts also posted hate messages against other Amiga products.

In contrast, the companies that Chris mentioned have a reputation of successful focus on their products and services. So I would definitely pursue an agreement with one of them instead.

I really don't see many bugs, but I think bug fixing is most important. Then perhaps USB 2.0 support so I can buy a USB2 card for my AmigaOne, instead of using the motherboard ports which don't work well. I am willing to pay for that.

However, I'm happy with all my OS4 systems, so whatever the next update contains is fine with me.

There isn't much use for this right now because the Sam460 motherboards are still under warranty and most of us have technical skills to take care of our own systems, but I've gone ahead setup Sam460 firmware chip repair and replacement service for Sam460 owners in North America. I think even small amounts of support to Sam/AmigaOne users can encourage more consumers.

It is targeted for embedded systems and linux. That was explained by ACube from the beginning. It just works well for an AmigaOS desktop solution also.

My plan is to see if any of these options will work:
- External USB CD drive (which I use anyway)
- See what PCIe x1 SATA cards the Sam460 supports when it is finished.
- Find out if the internal SATA port will work with a multiplier:

FYI: I used to process a lot of web server log files. Windows 2000 servers at twice the MHZ, using Perl, or Visual Basic, or shell scripts could not keep up with a slower processor reduced RAM NetBSD Unix box using Perl or Shell scripts. The processes would take about 30 minutes in Unix, while Windows would take hours.
