Hi,

This place is looking really, really great!!!!

I'd like, if it's possible, for in the statistics in the upper right hand corner of the home page, "Logged in last 24h", to also have "Logged in last 7 days", and "Logged in last 30 days".

If you say month, people may ask, "do you mean from the 1st to today?"

Also, when a person "closes" their account, is the "Registered members" updated to reflect this, within say 24 hrs?

Oh and, if I didn't already infer it, I'd say this place is a "go".

Afair, there's some documentation on OS4 CD on how-to set up a firewall on AOS side (in Roadshow docs). I didn't try it then (and can not now). If it is useable, there should be a pointer.

ssolie: Stop right there. Atheist, this is a "friendly" forum which means making phishing accusations in public is not tolerated. If you really believe somebody is phishing or whatever hit the Report button, PM the person and discuss it, email them in private, PM a moderator in private, whatever. Just don't start this kind of finger pointing in these public forums. Thank you.

Mitch, RomanceClip,

Please let's not raise questions, concerns and/or fears about the future of HW that probably won't be manufactured again at all (IOW, has no future).

AOS4.0 and further has a home on Amy '05, OR Panda, OR Sam(antha), OR Moana, OR .........!

I DO NOT know the future but am CERTAIN, that the "Amiga" story is A) Not over yet and B) Has no end.

I subscribe to both, feel free however to yourself choose and stick to either one.

It's impossible to explain, but I know it's not going away.

Hi, there, Amigans!

I don't know if it's a problem with the site, browser (FF2.0), me or if it's not implemented yet:
There are some envelopes before the threads on the forums menu, but I don't seem to be able to make a thread marked as read.

Anyhow, good work with the site!

A tip for this thread. It's long and it's easy to miss smthng. How about som kind of sticky list of todo/known-problems and maybe some kind of howto/FAQ. Maybe this is in the pipeline allready.

Hi Mitch,

Most excellent compilation of things we need to know.

Maybe they could have a special section on here called "Library", or something like that, but what do I know?

IBrowse and AWeb combined... WHat a discusting thought, I'm very happy with IBrowse, it's has had many features for years that 'modern' browsers are only just adding, it's small and fast, it doesn't matter that it's only 68k, which some idiots seem to think makes it unuasble, remember the 'I use aweb it's native' stuff on AW? I've done tests, IB is a fraction of a second slower on most pages, actually faster on some.

Then consider the GUI... AWeb sucks...

We are SO, SO, SO, SO lucky that we have as many browsers as we do!!!

Wasn't it supposed to be IMPOSSIBLE to do even half of what Amigas can do?

I'm going to say this, even though I don't have to (I doubt any would dispute this), we are so very grateful for all the time and effort put into all 3 browsers made for Amiga.
AWeb, Voyager, and IBrowse.

Showing up bg, PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!

What's everyone's favorite More replacement? I've recently begun using EvenMore. Love it!

I really like MuchMore. Unfortunately it doesn't work all that well with OS4.

If the general attitude towards polls is so negative among my fellow Amigans, it might be a better idea not to allow those on this website.
Since this is a friendly Amiga site, there should not be anything that might cause disruption and anger.

maybe a poll forum is the answer, all polls in one place so we don't have to keep falling over the things.

Great idea! And the forum shouldn't appear on the front page. If people want to participate they'll know where to go.
