could you add a tooltype so runinuae's launch window opens at a specified X,Y location? Can't think of anything else, it's great as it is!

Hmmm, good idea, and should be very easy to add...

edit: OK, done! Also made it remember the window position between hiding & showing it.

Haven't had the time to test the latest alpha version. However, the last one i tested was already great

Just an idea: How about using the AOS4.1 notification system to let the user know what Game is started? In that case, the window could be started iconified and is only need if you want to switch the starting behaviour for 68k apps.

The window could start iconified anyway, as it already briefly re-opens to tell you what is starting. The reason I don't do that is users are more likely to miss the menus & other features. (I could still use the notification system, but currently that isn't available in PortablE, and so would delay a release.)

Also, you can make it start iconified (as mentioned somewhere in the manual) by setting the CX_POPUP tooltype to NO.

edit: One thing I do wonder is whether the window should be bigger?


EDIT: OK, due to a newly discovered bug, I'm making at least one more release, which I decided to label "beta"! Please make any further posts in this thread.
