Well it can be said other way around: Basic X1000 isnt much more (quite cheap components beside really crazy case) then this board, and to get it level up you have to pay extra.

I believe I could save some money on postage and build a better for same money / a bit cheaper system if I had the board option.

Also, if it gives any kind of indication how much Cyrus will cost (I hope less) AEON products will remain quite rare, expensive and high level modern Amigas.

Why people still moaning, I simply don't get it. Ok, they are expensive, but take down what market share the Amiga has in general. I had to sell my fully equipped A4000D and A4000T with CSPPC, CyberVisionPPC, Deneb, Mediators etc to buy the AmigaOne X1000. So, if you want to have something badly, then you have to 'sucrifice' some other things.
