hi you need to go in and bascially format you boot partion into fastfile system with long files names . other wise it wont boot your os 4 partion .
make sure its got 07 on the end of the file system numbers .
when u use hard drive prep program forget the name , went unto partion part and used os4 pre set and then selected fastfile system with long file names then went into rdb part and make sure its the same there l had to have few goes at it till l worked it out , then formated the drive from wb

works great so far just dl a 693 meg file getting up to 160kps which is good for my internet.

gui is nice only thing whould like to to be able to limit upload speed other wise l use up to much of my data cap.

where did u get yours from.

l am running version 1.4 as read where in furture relases need more ram.

my blizzard ppc classic install has only 128 meg ram which goes down to 96 megs at start.

so far owb worked great it does stop afterawhile l put that down to running out ram.

dl 2 tv episodes got very good dl speed with cli version.

thanks for that just typing this using owb pretty neat yes l did select 00 from the gadget tryed to enter manually , but l didnt change it in the rigid disk block part just selected the filesystem as afs didnt change the settings, will try again.

l have dl lots torrents on my pc stargate atlantis etc
then l stream them to pxs3 , dl episdoe 17 series 4 with your program worked great dl fast also.
gui looks great , best torrent programs are simple ones.
best pc torrent program me and freind use is bit tornado

hi tryed reinstalling os 4 to my ppc 1200
with sfs but all l got was the machine whould lock after few secs and it say ram lib erorr l have taken memory and card out and still nothing so reinstalled fastfilesystem 07 Long file names and it fine.
never had this problem before .
l like to use sfs as it alot faster and fastfile really works my ide hd alot.

thanks for any help what settings should l use , l thought must be because l have to use long file name settings but cant seem to work that part out what to change. had set to 02 and 00 both did the same thing.

well for me the answer is yes yes cant wait.

why did u buy a ppc card if not to run ppc programs

and simple answer is under os 3.9 your ppc card is slowed down by having to switch between orginal hardware and

ppc .

under os 4.0 workbench will be run just of the 603 ppc cpu

bloody cool.

if your so keen on old software do what l did buy spare 1200

but think it should run we written meaning good software

well under its built in 6800 emulation software.

go get 2 copys os 4.0 yeee ha

l for one brought my blizzard ppc card when it was released all those years ago .

had the warp up power up debates going on on

so l just say bloody cool awsome day when finally had ppc native operating system l dont get rats about dma .

just going be cool not to have to muck around with 3 diffrent operating systems .
