What if Google bought Amiga (This would be a double post sorry)

Just have to air the idea. Seeing that Google makes phones etc with some sort of gOS, only beiing a linux variation. As far as I would see it, it would be a great thing if a company like Google would pick up Amiga and actually put some money into development of the platform.......
Myselfe I have a OS4 machine, but I hardly ever use it (although I should), but I realy don't see there is much progress. I know there is a heap of private people doing a great job at developing some software for the platform, but sadly I don't think it's enough (from of top of my mind descreetfx, jashc, hyperion, among others).
I guess I'm looking for thoughts about the idea of Google picking up the Amiga.............because as it is today I guess it's pretty safe to say that not much is gona happen in the near future.....
Sorry for beiing so negative, I realy don't want to be....:)
regards
PS: I think it's fewer people looking in the general post, then here, hench the double post....sorry.

@LiveForIt
yea I know about progdir: and it wasn't assigned before, doubt it had anything to do with that before executing the installer.
No idea why it worked, but it did, and X is now working. Though Abiword won't start it seem....:(

I figures it out, though not sure why, but when executing the installer from shell it worked.
Also did a "assign progdir:" to the directory of cygnix before I executed the installer from shell.
If that has anything to do with it or not I'm not sure.
After this the "update" worked from the icon-installer.

@LiveForIt
I tried having a bigger stack, didn't seem to help.
Not quite sure what I should look for in Snoopy, there is a few "FAIL" regarding
Some examples:
FAIL = Lock("Envarc:Reaper.68kstacktrace",SHARED)
then sim "o.k"
Then ends with a few FAIL's:
Fail = Open("Progdir:", shared) Fail = Open("Progdir:Catalogs/...........") Fail = Open("Locale:catalogs/..............")
And finaly:
Fail = Lock("Envarc:classes/datatypes", SHARED).
No idea what's going on....
PS: It seem to happen at the time the installer is going to show the available drives, before I chose one...

When I launch the install files of X11, I get thru the part where one can chose novice user etc. When I go further and select where I want to install it seem to give me a grim reaper stating:
Guru Meditation: 80000003 Task 0xca78e10 ("installer") generated an error of type DSI (Data storage interrupt) on address 0x012155ac Redzone was not damaged Stackpointer is inside bounds.
Using final OS4 on a micro A1.
Anyone have any idea what may cause this ?

@Atheist
What if you press the "scroll lock" key just when the progress bar finish loading the kickstart module (I think it was), to get to the early startup-screen.
Then chose to boot without startup-sequence.
type in loadwb into the shell, if the machine loaded faster then I guess it'l be something in your startup-sequence causing it to hang, maybe things like Chris pointed out.
Hope you get it working.

@Atheist
Tried to replicate the error, but then I won't get screen, even waiting 30 minutes.
The only thing I did was to go into DEVS/MONITORS and edit icon information of Radeon Icon, and change the tool type saying Interrupt=Yes to Interrupt=No

Just did a clean install of OS4 final.
(Actually tried a few times).
Everything seem to work fine, but when booting again from the fresh-install it loads all modules etc, then screen is black.
Any idea what may cause this?
(using a LCD monitor now, but guess that shouldn't cause this behaviour, have chosen 800x600 @ 60 Hz to be sure on the last install I did...:( )
