Rigo: I tried renaming the folder boot:emulation/RunInUAE to something else and then back again and that helped. Strange since no date in the icon files had any older dates than 2013-01-10. Glad the update list is clean again from bogus updates. Thanks!

@Rigo: Good thing you fixed the ranger issue. I have the same problem with RunInUAE if you could fix that. :)

The Boxee port was made by Spotify just in the same manner as they are now making it for AmigaOS 4.1.

Anyway. For those of you that don't follow Amigaworld:

The guys at Spotify just sent us this picture of the Amiga in its new home.

The machine is now delivered as mentioned on Amigaworld and we will provide them with "within 24 hour" support.

We will do a follow up in May giving them even more beer and check out how things are going.

We emphasised one clear thing: "Have fun!"
Thats what it is all about.

They will probably be hanging around on this forum so treat them nice.

spotUp: This is more business than coding and nothing compared to my daily work. Besides all my energy comes from other enthusiastic amiga users like you and others.

The machine must be at least a Sam460 1.2GHz. with a good graphics card and a soundblaster 128 Live. Nothing less.

Hold the bounty until we get an answer wheter they take on the challenge or not.

Yes! I just manage to compile everything on Amiga and at the same time I got a positiv reply from Spotify on my request.
As it turns out many of the coders and bosses at spotify are old Amiga users and found porting to Amiga like a good idea.
They didn't have resources to do it right now but if the employees would do it on the "hack days" it would be ok.

So I wrote a letter that gets sent out to the engineering department tomorrow where we ask them to take on the challenge.

I promised to provide them with a fully equiped OS4.1 machine and full coding support.
Unless others would like to chip in I will pay for it with my own money and deliver it to them.

I will let you know how this turns out.
