No, i don't know why they used this solution. I think it was cheaper to use these chips than to add additional layers to the PCB.

Even if somebody develops a nvme driver for amigaos, there are some other problems.
The P5020/P5040 has PCIe v2.0, which means up to 500MB/s for one lane.
The P5020 has 18 lanes, but 8 are unused on the X5000!!!
Lane[0-3] are used for PCIe x16 slot.

Lane[4-7] are used with a PCIe-PCIe-switch for the 1 PCIe x4, the 3 PCIe x1 and with a PCIe-PCI-switch for the 2 PCI Slots

Lane[16-17] are used for the 2 SATA-ports

Only if you not use any other PCIe x1 or PCI Card, then you could use a fully connected PCIe x4 Slot, but you need a Riser Card/Cable, because the Slot is mostly blocked by the Headsink of your graphicscard.

Have you tried to use Linux with 4 RAM modules in your X1000 installed?

Maybe it would be nice to use an actual openssl.lib and not the x years old version. ;-P

If you have x Graphicscards in your Amiga, then You can connect the same number of monitors.

Some 9700pro-Boards had an additional powerconnector. Maybe your board too?

what type off SSD are you using?

Could You try this:
Make a Coldstart with CD inserted. Make a Warmstart and open the Bootmenu and boot from the HDD.

If you make a coldstart without the Install-CD, then system don't loads the kickstart modules (you can't see the progressindicator from the SLB) and you get that message that there is no bootable partition ??

i've just purchased ZTools, you told us the VAT value should be that in my country but it added 20%, here in Italy is 22%, another thing when an EU person buy in foreign EU countries he/she must pay the VAT from the country that sell the products and not the VAT where he/she lives and if i'm a company i don't have to pay the VAT, in conclusion you should apply on the site the final prices included UK VAT,.....

This is no fully correct, there was a change last time for onlineshops in the EU. If the product only a download( eg. software) then you pay the VAT-rate from the (EU)country were you live and the shop must transfer the VAT to the your country.


But the VAT rate is irrelevant for a "normal" customer, because the shop must show the price inclusive VAT.

The programm try to read/write to an illegal( not allocated) adress. Maybe you have freed memory and try to access this memory.

I could not reproduce the bug on my system. The results which are posted by you looks like from an outdated lha-version with year-2010 bug.

which lha version did you use and on which system?

1. It is not best idea to post a possible bugreport only in one forum. You can not expect that a developer reads every forum dayly.
