@raziel Sure. This website is based on Xoops CMS. What I will update is the base of xoops and it's system modules. This work will give us the opportunity to move closer to most updated versions, be able to use more recent modules for adding more features, and also increase the security of the website.
One of my targets is to upgrade the PHP version this site works on to the latest available. This will give a speed boost and also increase security standards.
So, after this update no features will change. Based on my tests there won't be any problems, but I might miss something. So if you guys see that there is a problem on something, don't hesitate to give me a shout on this thread or on a PM.
After that more updates will follow, and some of the things need to be done are: - Update xoops to the latest version - Change the forum module to a better and newer one. This will be tricky, but I believe it can be done - Add a new module for classifieds, which now is removed because it was old and had issues - Move to PHP 7.4 if possible
And then we might bring more features.

I would like to inform you that tomorrow, around 22:00 UTC I will do more updates at amigans website. This means that it will be down for at least 30 mins.
After that I will need your help on reporting issues, in case there are any. Of 'course, all this time, I will be available online at the amigans IRC channel.

@polluks To decompile a catalog you will need at least the CD files. Unless there is a tool that doesn't require them that I am not aware of.

He does that with Dopus 5 Magellan ( http://os4depot.net/?function=showfil ... ility/filetool/dopus5.lha) which can be used as a WB replacement, if you want. It open it's own screen. This means that things that are on WB doesn't go automatically to DOpus screen, like a dock app, or a watch app. Unless you replace completely your WB with DOpus. There is specific options in configuration for that.

Thanks for posting this here. Of course your news items are accepted here and thank you for your work. You posted this news item? If yes, can you remember when? There might be an issue with the site which I would like to track down.
RNOPublisher is a really awesome app. Thank you for creating it.

I think these are going to be really hard to get. These were given to the ATO teams, who did the translations, but again I am not 100% sure.

Re: Does Odyssey use graphics memory above the 256MB?

@LiveForIt Sorry, maybe I didn't explain it right. I am not talking about the system ram but the graphics card. By default AmigaOS Radeon drivers see only the first 256MB of a gfx card, but since Radeon v2 drivers it is possible to access the rest of the memory as well.
As much as I know, right now some games use that memory, and I wonder if it is possible for Odyssey to use so to not have this barrier.

Doesn Odyssey use the available graphics above the first 256MB for the drawing of the webpages? If not is it possible?
From my tests here seems that it doesn't and when the 256MB are filled the system starts to have stability issues.

@ddni It seems that you do not have the latest v1.6.1. If you do something like the below, you will be able to see the version of the script. lbrytv.py -h

This shouldn't use the mplayer but ffplay. Check your cfg.py file and check the sPlayer to use ffplay. If you need example configuration, check the cfg.py.example file

@ddni Thanks for testing it. Is there an error that you see at the shell? I will test it on my AmigaOne later today.

A new version of aiostreams 1.6 is available with a few fixes and lbry.tv added at the list of supported networks. Lately I saw that a lot of Amiga and Commodore YouTubers are moving their content to lbry.tv. Also, Hans de Ruiter created his own channel there a month ago, so I thought to try and support this network in aiostreams. Unfortunately, the website is not usable in our browsers, but with aiostreams you can perform some search on videos and channels, so to find the videos you want to watch. Also, have in mind that lbry.tv serves the videos in best available quality only, so most of them are 1080p. Unless you have a powerful machine, you might have some breaks on the video playback. You can download the latest version from https://github.com/walkero-gr/aiostreams/releases/tag/v1.6 and an upload to OS4Depot will follow. For any problems or recommendations, don't hesitate to contact me here or open an issue at https://github.com/walkero-gr/aiostreams/issues

@ddni Actually it seems that http://anna.amigazeux.org is a backup of ann.lu, that seems to work.

Hello guys, ann.lu, one of the oldest amiga websites is totally down, and we can't access it any more. In my opinion, this website has so much information there, that it would be a pity to not preserve it somewhere.
Do you know if there is a backup URL for that? Do you know who owns it?
