Strange story I have to tell.

I reseted my computer and PNG Icon worked now.
The only thing I did was to launch before snoopy once.

That reminds me in times far far away from today, on my A4000, I used to not start workbench to gain memory.
I had a program that could not be used if I didn't launch before snoopdos.

Today it is the same except I can use now the program without starting snooppy everytime.
Strange behaviour for me.
If you have some hints, drop a line so I will be more intelligent befor my death.

The question about the standard. I agree that the possibility of using png icon should be a standard but if it is not planned, that doesn't bother me because I have a solution (pngicon module).

For ages, the solutions for your problems on amiga are founded in aminet, os4depot, third party software, i.e. the amiga community.

Hi everybody,

I wanted to test this "old" software to change the size of some icons.
But When I tried to resize (with scale function), I had the error : "WBRun not found, please execute before loadwb"
Sometimes I had the message "error 20".

I possess a Sam Flex. I have the last version 1.19.

Any new version or new software.

Yes I am interessed in it too if I can save a kind of thumbnails index.
I would like a program which I could add directories recursively whatever the size. I used a program (don't know the name) which hanged with a too high number of files.

I used YAM 2.6 before moving to 2.7.
All worked until March as described before.

At opening, Yam seems to retrieve my emails from my accounts but does nothing.
When I create and send a message, I have a guru that I ignore it.
Third, retrieve and send functions (buttons and menus) are ghosted.

I tried with the last versions. Mine is Yam 10/03/2010.

It is strange. The only thing I see is a bug in ctorrent code.
If this is true, I think Antique could do nothing.

Could you send me a pm or mail with the torrent file ?
I will test it.

I am not sure of the country, but as you can read these news on the net (due to a judgement), I want to be clearer. Tele2 blocks the connection (not the http protocols) from certain sites like PirateBay.
For me it is the case, I can'( download from this site (except if there are alternates trackers).

Hope your downloads last forever...

Yes, the closed ports could be problem or may be you must be patient. Downloads don't begin always fast.

But, I can tell you some more.
Sometimes, your downloads will be never started because of the sites.
1 For example, if the torrent come from a private site even if you download from a public site (like mininova).
In this case, you must register yourself to the privale site and re-download the torrent file.

2 Your ISP can block your connection or corrupt the transferts. You can google for it for more information.
For example, I can tell you that the ISP named tele2 (in sweden or denmark, don't remember) blocked the torrents from piratebay.
My ISP is tele2.fr and it blocked my torrents. So Ctorrent creates my files but the download doesn't begin.
But you can examine the torrent with the -x option and see if alternates sites have been chosen. If yes, you can download with the -u option.

3 I did this remark too but I don't have a satisfactory remedy.
Sometimes, with big torrents (big file or big number of files), if you stop the download for a moment and start again, the download doesn't restart.
The only solution is to delete your files and redo the download.

Some of my ctorrents downloads last for days but I saw no problem.

I can connect but all my contacts are always offline.
I open the ports in my router (in case) but nothing changed.

I use FFmpegGui (great soft) to transform h264 (1280x720) to mpeg (640x360) to see them on my sam (OS4.1.1).

The files are well created but i cannot seek in the file in player and the length time is not defined (equal to 0).

What I would want to know is to change that.

Hi everybody,

I had a problem with a behaviour of my unrar compilation.
I wanted to list and extract big archives.
I made some changes in the source and I didn't succeed to use it, i.e. I had a seek error when the file pointer was beyond the 2 Gb limit.

I tracked down the cause, it was the ftello64 function which returned to me a 32 bit int even I used a 46 bit integer.
I posted in UtilityBase but no reason to that.

The problem was that the bif unrar file was located on JXFS partition because when I put it in a SFS2, all was right and unrar worked perfectly.

I use JXFS file for all my downloads because of the possibility of using big files like dvd images.
I wanted to know more about this filesystem, what are the real differences with SFS2 ? I read the readme file of JXFS but not useful informations.

Even that is already written a lot, I would want to thank the Hyperion team for his job on this OS 4.1.

I never tried to use myself a value to -I.
May be worth a good try.

don't use ip parameter because you don't have a fixed ip, right ?

For the p parameter, it is used to say to ctorrent which port to open.
As Antique said, the default port is 2706 to 2100 or something.

You should do this thing to download faster, open your ports in your router if you have one. Without this, the firewall could stop and lower your connections.
