Could you give a link to even only one 4K movie that works with DVPlayer?

I tested about 10 films, e.g. this:

I always have a result as in the picture. Dvplayer can not play it, although Emotion has no problems.

Yes this is how FFPlay can also be used, you can also Emotion 1.1. I described my impressions on this subject on my blog in the Polish MediaVault review. Link.

OK, my previous conclusions were premature. I made more tests today, on a larger number of podcasts. In fact, the results are such that part of the podcasts operates without any problems on Emotion 1.9, regardless of whether I turn off or turn on va.library. However, there are podcasts that only work on Emotion 1.1 and do not want to work on Emotion 1.9. Check such as Amiwigilia or Amicast.

Ok. If you think that the fault does not sit on the Emotion side, it probably does not make sense to continue the conversation via OS4Welt.de. So I will answer here. My version va.library is 1.4 (27/09/2019). There is no newer version on Updater. Anyway, she has no separately at all (it is part of Enhancer Software 2). Can you check if the problem with the public version of Va.Library also occurs on your configuration?

I do not have a problem finding a podcasts. However, I have a problem with listening to the episode to the end. Unfortunately, when you play back the material, after some time (about 5 minutes), the material is looped and starts to be played from the beginning. Because during the play of the podcast does not work the navigation buttons in Amigaamp, such as a scroll progress bar, basically a podcast operation function today is not very useful, because you can not listen to the end of the material that has more than a few minutes long.

I am waiting for a new version, with handling other players, because it is possible that the problem is actually a problem on the side of AmigaAmp.

100% right. I think Leaman is crazy if he thinks people buy his system. 95% of Amigaos users with whom I talked to A-Eon OS is negative. Who wanted an alternative for a long time ago went to Morpos or Aros on low price hardware. At Amigaos 4, stay only who want to have 100% original Amigaos and no counterfeits are not interested.

I just described the situation related to the AHI preferences. In the case of X1000 Slider Out, I can move in a few different items that mean the specific output slot. In the case of your driver, there is no choice. Only the line option is available, and the slider is inactive.

Sound configuration in the case of AHI requires changes.

Sound:
The game defaults to stereo Paula DMA audio, but AHI is also supported for sound card users.
To use AHI, after the first start open SW.CFG in a text editor, and in the [Sound Setup] section set FXDevice = 8 and ReverseStereo = 1. The game will use the Music Unit for sound playback, make sure it's properly
configured in the AHI prefs. To switch back to Paula, change both values back to 0.

Emotion crashes the whole system after 1-2 seconds of playback. Tested with RX550 and RX560.


I tested on my X5000 040 & Radeon RX 560.I think that the cause is in DPM. If I have set to Dynamic, movies under Emotion always crash. Power Prefs should always be set to high. NOTE Although I save a high power permanently. Attention that after a reset and somethimes the card works in Dynamic mode. This is easily checked by running ShadeJoy and loading a project-test. Often, immediately after reset, I have a result around 65 - 67fps, and this result is obtained in Dynamic mode. I start Power preferences, I see that I have high power, I do not change anything I only press button Use. The result in Shadrejoy automatically jumps to refresh my monitor (75Hz) - 75fps. Now I know that High Power mode will definitely work and now the movies under Emotion do not crash.

I reported the matter to Olaf. Claims that AROS's TCP stack relies on older sources than Roadshow as it uses AmiTCP V3, while Roadshow is an extension of AmiTCP V4.

Besides, Olaf has developed an example of using the SANA II, which works seamlessly with the Roadshow AmigaOS 4 and 68k.

Has anyone tried to use the internet under Basilisk? If so, please give me solution. how to configure TCP / IP under MacOS 8 and do you need to set anything in Roadshow under AmigaOS 4? I tried several ways myself, but without success.

There is a mistake in the numbering this emulator. In readme he writes about version 1.0.5, and OS4Depot still marks it as 1.0.4.
