@broadblues
Thanks, I'm trying but not working,
I have to try to work better on this.
I need to rehearse your explanation and simple, but it does not work.
Would you have time to put only sample screenshots?
I could see them and work better.
Thank you.
If it is not possible, all the same, I will do many tests.
Thanks anyway, I have a base to work on.

@broadblues
Thank you very much for your answer.
Actually I was trying to configure YT.rexx with AWeb 3.5.12
And I must have done something wrong and the first time I use it on 4.1
At the moment I use YT.rexx with Odyssey NetSurf and IBrowse
I was trying to make it work with AWeb 3.5.12 because it is very fast on winuae but I must have done something wrong.
Now I have solved and thanks for the additional information on the configuration files.
Thanks again for the advice.
And thank you for your work.

But I still can not configure it with YT.rexx, I read the documentation of YT.rexx but it seems at least difficult for me to configure.

Hello
I was trying to customize AWeb,
I have to have something wrong, now AWeb opens but there are no more menus and I can not insert any links or anything else.
I deleted and reinstalled AWeb but the situation does not change.
I tried to see in SYS: prefs / env-archive but I can not find anything.
How can I install AWeb again with the default settings?
Thanks for your work and possible suggestions.
Thank you.

Excuse me a lot, I found and in the Appdir I deleted the files of preference.
Everything works.
I apologize again.

@MickJT
Hi,
It would be interesting to implement this function
Always if this is possible
Thanks again, for all the work done
And for your help
Now the script works perfectly with the line YTRexxPath = "data: YT /"
With Odyssey and NetSurf 4318.
Thank you!

@MickJT
thanks to the availability.
It would be interesting that in future versions of netsurf there would be "Open link with"

I saw in RAM: T / YT.Local.html
that the video link is always created to the following line:
10 line
43 column
here is always the link of the video, it would be possible in some way to read from a script this link to start the video directly from the browser?
I hope my question is right and not wrong
Thank you.

Hi MickJT,
Thanks for the reply.
I would like to ask something if it is possible
Personally I use 2 types of configurations,
One and on real hd, I marked the partition as x76 and then with gparted I created new table amiga filesystem partitions, then I used winUAE to partition and install Os4.1 update1
YT.rexx works perfectly and also YTREXXcaller.nsrx

Then I use a second configuration on a virtual HD created with AMD-RAM-DISK
with the RC1 4.3.0 version this allows you to create uninitialized partitions.
here too YT.rexx and YTREXXcaller.nsrx work fine.
I have seen that on this configuration I have to change the paths of CURL and JS other NetSurf 4318 does not work with YTREXXcaller.nsrx.
I did it this way I do not know the reason, I moved the Tools directory in Data and everything works.

Is it not possible to change the directory path of YTREXX.nsrx in order to adjust the paths?
I saw this line: YTRexxPath = "data:"
I tried to change it but it seems that everything stops working

Thank you for any response.
I apologize for my questions.
And thanks again.

yt.nsrx and netsurf beta 4318

Hi,
I apologize for my requests.
Since I use Amigaos4.1 fe1 with winUAE I have done various experiments, trying in every way to improve with the existing software a daily use of this operating system.
I understand that it has limits with winUAE.
On the contrary, I apologize, but it is now many years that I no longer own a real machine.
But amiga has always remained in my heart.
Yesterday I tried the netsurf beta 4318 with the script YT.rexx through the yt.nsrx plugin
and I realized that for the first time it worked perfectly.
I was wondering if somehow starting from this base the 4318 was possible to improve even more the script arexx yt.nsrx
Maybe starting the video directly with MickjT-MPlayer directly from the browser.
Thank you.
I apologize you have respective developers of these programs but curiosity and a lot.
Would this be possible?
Or use at the moment remains this and there is no way to go further?
Thanks again for your work!
Here a small video that shows that it works, sorry for the quality I have not yet found a compression between quality and size of the video.

Hi MickJT, thanks for your patience, the test with Curl did not give me any crashes.
I tried RTL 8029 PCI.device doing some tests.
Also decreasing the ram memory and the uaegfx memory
Probably I did too many tests with odyssey but the copy I used and a backup of a configuration that was fine.
I wanted to tell you if the problem solved by Toni in winUAE in the last beta released is useful.
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=90673&page=4
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=90673&page=5
I hope it's helpful I apologize if I write here.
I just wanted to say that the videos start perfectly on the homepage of YouTube
Only when I try to search for a video on YouTube Curl gives me the error.
To make Odyssey lighter, use IPad as a user-agent.
But this problem also occurs if I use Odyssey as the default browser.
I apologize, if you prefer I can send you an email if you prefer.
Thanks again for your availability.

Curl error Odyssey
Quite a regular

Hi all,
For some days using Odyssey with YT.rexx gives me this error, only using the video search function:

GNU gdb 6.3 (AmigaOS build 20050719)
Copyright 2004 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
GDB is free software, covered by the GNU General Public License, and you are
welcome to change it and / or distribute copies of it under certain conditions.
Type "show copying" to see the conditions.
There is absolutely no warranty for GDB. Type "show warranty" for details.
This GDB was configured as "ppc-amigaos".
Reading symbols from /Amiga//data/YT/Tools/curl...Dwarf Error: wrong version in compilation unit header (is 4, should be 2) [in module / Amiga // data / YT / Tools / curl]
GDB can not read core files on this machine.
(Gdb)

If I open the videos with YT.rexx directly without the search everything works.
Am I wrong?
Or could it be that the youtube site has changed something inside it?
SMTube works perfectly with MickjT-mplayer

Thank you for every answer.

Hi, I configured Odyssey with YT.rexx MickjT-mplayer here is a small video, sorry for the quality.
I would appreciate if possible to increase the performance of the browser.
I've looked for guides but I can not find anything.
Maybe to make it lighter and faster.
Is it possible to configure it with MUI?
Or configure it better?

Thank you all for any answers.

@MickJT
Thank you for your patience and the explanation of ffplay.
I corrected the script.
And thanks again for your player works really well with SMTube, I also corrected the outpout in the smtube.ini file
Now everything works transparently and without output windows

I wanted to ask you there is a possibility of using YT.rexx in a website
when is it posted, for example, a video linked directly to youtube?

such as in this case:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=89887&page=2

(show youtube player)

Thanks again!

Hi, I'm sorry,
but the script I posted is right?
Everything seems to work perfectly odyssey works very well with YT.rexx
I do not get any errors.

If there are any errors, or lines to be eliminated, I willingly accept your advice.
Thanks again.
