@ChrisH
By this questions, i just trying to point, that RunInUAE its solutions not for everyone, and include it to the OS are not so good deal. Personally i like glUAE more, just because of totall simplicifyty (2 scripts only). Nothing asks, nothing saves, you just setup as you want your game/app, and run it by dbl-click. RunInUAE are smart too much (that all imho of course). When i trying to install it few weeks ago (last version) i was really annoed by all that questions about kickstarts, amiforevers CDS and alt. For me better just copy 2 scripts (very possible that not only for me).

@DAX
A bit offtopic, but: How RunInUAE check, what 68k binary runs over Petunia (which are better thatn EUAE in terms of emulation of 68k code), and that is 68k binary are used chipsets, and run it over the UAE ?
For me it looks like as a bitt mess, and including it to AOS will confusing a bit (also EUAE itself are buggy still).
For me also the only one solution for integrating of full 68k emulation : It's should all be done by hyperion, i.e. writing or integrating these parts to petunia from uae, which emulate chipsets and other classic amiga HW. Or integrate petunia to EUAE and integrated EUE for all the 68k apps => so all 68k binaries will use only one handler, which will do what should to do, without all that mess.

@samo79 You cant see it in "easy way", but you can download it via SVN: Quote: There all the current source code, readmes, change logs and so on. But in last time progress going pretty slow, just because its already have all the "more or less need it stuff", and Hanz works on new HD drivers hardly.

@samo79
Why you think that there should be any speed differences ?:) New version its only about adding some stuff, without of which, some games/demos just do not works.
Its the same version of libs which i put all the time in topics. I just ask Hanz to make it public, for all the users who annoing from time to time, that os4depot have not latest version.

Btw, one more wish : Its prefs for the choice/test/save theme. I mean nice simply gui window called "theme manager" or kind. Not like it for now. Maybe even port from AROS will be fine (but it will be mui3 then, not reaction).
@hotrod Imho the best solution in such problems, its just hook up new-clean HDD, and install everything from scratch (aos4.1u2): SFS2 for system: , and JFS for all others.

@hotrod Quote: Since I don't have my a4k runing I can't really check Netsurfs behavement with AOS 3.9 but I know that DOpus 4 hasn't felt as slow ever on any hardware that I've gotten (old Commodore Amigas) as it does now so something isn't right.
Checked dopus4 right now on my peg2/1ghz/aos4.1u2 : coping, or deleting of files does not matter of how long and of which size: 20-30% of cpu loading for SFS2, and about 30-40% of cpu loading for JFS.

@Hatting Quote: Java and Flash can get left out, these aren't important (and I say that as a Java programmer).
Yep, i agree there too. But still, if we will have it, it will be better than if not have :) Some flash games and java apps are good today. Quote: OpenGL improvements are a must. OpenGL 4 support is probably a bit much to ask I guess. OpenCL would also be handy, as well as something like Apple's simple multi-threading APIs using Objective C 'blocks'.
The next opengl realisation on aos4 will be MESA+Gallium3d => we can expect any modern features set (include ogl2/3/4, all that shaders stuff and such).

@LiveForIt
I tested right now SuperTuxKart 0.6.2a (the same version which i port to os4), on friends win32 computer, which have:
IntelCelereon 1.1ghz 256mb of ram Radeon7000 with the latest drivers (03.05.2006) with 64mb of memory. WinXP
And that version of SuperTuxKart works visually faster in 2-2,5 times if compare with aos4 version on my peg2/1ghz/1gb of ram/radeon9250 (256mb).
Menu btw are even slower if compare with os4 version. But game tracks - faster in 2-2.5 times.
Of course x86 (even with celeron, and even so old) a bit faster that pegasos2 hw (not sure through on which % faster), but difference imho pretty big to referring only to HW.
Of course game itself not so light, but 1ghz and our radeons are pretty enough for be playble if our opengl will works not over warp3d.

@Spirantho
Maybe just not working ports for me (i tryed all the free connectors on the sound card). It is possible somehow by the code, understand did the ports works or not ?
I thinking that maybe i have "bad device" (its just a microphone), but i test it on win32, and it works .. Sadly that i have only that inbuild sound card, will be interesting to test on the other cards.
Maybe you can just write what ahi settings (all the settings) should be ? I mean and Music Unit tab, and Unit 0 tab settings (from the right and left window).
@all Anyone with pegasos2 can test it on the inbuild sound card ?

Btw, on your os4 it works fine ? I tryed right now to setup everything to max (in ahi settings, in quickrecord), then i trying to connect to one port on card, and trying to change all the settings while monitoring : all the time black cubes for the line in and for the mic, and then to another free port on soundcard - and the same try monitoring and change setting to lineit/mic - the same black cubes :(

@Spirantho
Trying to record: When i press "record", it says in console: "Couldt open file". So, i looks like i need to specify file (but that not cleary understanable). Maybe will be cool to bring a mui-warning window, with words "you shoul specify a file !".
Also if i for example choice "mic" in the settings and press SAVE, it still give me LineIn when i again press on settings.
And the question: Should "monitor" works, just when i connect microphone , and press "monitor" ?
As i know, ac97 in peg2, have only : Line In / Line Out / Headphone Out. So, i tryed boch free 2 connectors , and none of them record anything.. Maybe again some AHI settings should be ?

@Spirantho Quote: Weird. It can't find any inputs. Check your AHI unit 0 in your AHI prefs and make sure it supports recording....
I check the Unit 0, and there is: Quote: ModeID: 0x02000002 Recording: Full duplex Author: Davy Wentzler Copyright: (C) Davy Wentzler Dirver: Devs:AHI/via-ac97.audio Version: via-ac97.audio 5.9 (07.07.09)
But by default, i have setuped in my ahi prefs for MusicInit: Unit 0: HiFi 16 bit stereo++ (and it sa Half Duplex). Then if i change in Muisc Unit to the VIA-AC97: Hifi 16 bit stereo++ - programm starts ! Yeah ! But what is strange, its that my Unit 0 setuped correctly. Looks like QuckRecord code, set some "default setting" , but default settings of not Unit 0 , but some Unit <default>. Strange .. Btw, pretty usefull and nice utility. Can you upload it to os4depot as well ? (or if you have no time i can do that for you).

@Spirantho that what i have when trying to run it on os4.1u2/peg2: Quote: Open ASL. CreateMsgPort() CreateIORequest() OpenDevice() Set Library. Done. AHIIFace = 0x6422aac0.AHIBase = 0x64259e64. Found 0 inputs. Couldn't create app. Closing down.

@Deniil
Imho better use OWB for now with all that "reduced" stuff, and wait for stable version of TF. Because imho ibrowse-team are will not fix anymore anything, but downgrate the sites its not the solution too.

@Deniil Quote: IBrowse is completely superior surfing Amiga sites because of its rich feature set (download, hotlinks, mimetypes, etc., etc.) and speed but now it looks like crap.
Fill the bug-report to ibrowse team, maybe they will fix it :)

@All Because some ppls are ask in mail for giving them all that working configs, i assume that better if it will upload it for everyone who lazy enough for boring with it. So, there is all the configs. Games for now are that ones: AladdinAGA ChaosEngineAGA CoolSpot Gods KidChaosAGA LionKingAGA Ruff&Tumble ShadowOFTheBeast 3 AGA SlamTilt Pinball AGA SuperForg SuperStardustAGA They all setuped to works in window mode (i not bother with fullscreen), without ugly black-borders, size of windowses i found manually (the best ones). Configs are done for WHD games only (pretty possible that with adfs/dms you will have problems), and the keyboard navigation done via numpad (when numlock are enabled). Also all of this tested on the 1GHZ of cpu (peg2) with latest EUE and OS4.1u2. All games playable, without jerkenes and so on.

@Spirantho
The problems with GUI, its for sure that you code it over Zune (which have lots of bugs). For example i tryed to port LunaPaint some time ago (to os4 and to morphos), and its buggy like hell in terms of GUI rendering (but on AROs all is ok). I also talk with Itix (who do port of LunaPain to morphos some time ago) and he say that MUI code over zune - its unlogical and buggy crap. So for sure there will need some tweaks.
I also do few changes for ASL requester (by default with all that APTR *tRequster stuff it crashes and i change it a bit), but now it crashes all the time when trying to allocate audio and there i fear i can't do much, because i need to understand all the code => will be better if you can do it as author yourself of course :) I can help with all the tests and so on if its need it.
