Hey everyone, we're just starting on the long, long, long road of handing out walking papers to over a billion beige boxes!!!!! Looooook at my avatar. Puh-lease!

Well! Hi to all you netizens of Amigans.Net!!!!! Happy New Year! We've certainly done well in the last ( first!) month of Amigans.Net, by way of amount of people who have joined. Even, some who know they aren't too popular (that being put mildly) have popped in. Not counting those few of the 355 that are here, I have to say, this is awesome!!!!.... PageStream 5 is the only SW I've purchased so far, as far as AOS4.0 PPC SW goes. Bought the professional version (was that $150 US?) when the US dollar was close to $1.50 Canadian. Also, some issues of TAM (5?) and even a few Clubbed (3?) mags. Having finance difficulties.

I'm using Firefox 1.0.7 and can highlight the "*" charcter(s) falling from high on above, at the top of the screen where Santa is.
By "highlight", I mean it's possible to press the left mouse button down and (it's a bit tricky) highlight 1 or a bunch of the "*" as though you're doing the "copy" & "paste" text action.

Hi Mawrick,
Thanks for explaining what was behind your being stuck, and trying it out (to see if my problem might have been the same).
I obviously have some other problem then.
My A1 XE goes through to select linux or AOS, after I pick AOS, does a bunch more things then has a black screen, for, like I said 3 to 7 minutes, then finally boots up. No idea why.

A peculiar question that could get me kicked out of here, BUT, could the FPGA emulate an 8086, 8088, 80286, or 80386????
80486?
This would make for some very interesting possibilities.
Even some others, like the Palm, or some of the pocket pc handhelds could be emulated, perhaps?
