I see...to difficult to port it to OS4? If rvn uses it as much easyer on Linux it cant be easyer also for us? Or too much dependecies?

If I can say one think, add to the bounty(if possible due mplayer code modification over time, I dunno...), plz add to the bounty that the mplayer version have to be as fast as afxgroup's one that was still the faster one here on my G4 Pegasos2 and that was the one I use if I need to play videos...for sure I'm not interested to donate in a bounty that dont give me any speed improvemet(maybe only the altivec related but to know until its tested) in mplayer...

@LiveForIt
well...mybe my bad english was not clear but basically I mean that on Amiga-land since it was a tiny market the work done have to be done without so much hopes in revenue...because:
1 - work done on AmigaOS have to be done for fun primarly I think 2 - I dont think that you have time to waste...only said that even a bit of income doing something you (I hope) like was nice to have 3 - noone will forse you to do what you wont to do...but was right to expose the opinion of everyone.... 4 - I think that was not so good complain for bad donations in the last year...if you started work on some project(s) and dont get what you want maybe at beginning you dont asked what you are doing and why are you doing it...
And excusme if it seems rude or so but, I repeat, my english wasnt so good...
@afxgroup
honestly I miss a lot your works!

I really think that, especially now, AmigaOS developers have to do what they do in their "free" time I think since the real life was every day more difficult unfoprtunately... However I dont think LiveForIt will go around looking for work 24/24 every day...but I'm sure him motivation was really low since it dont have no bases to support him life so also Amiga related motivation was low...and than? Simply:
- Accept the small market tha tAmigaOS have and to what to do in spare(from looking for work) time geting from that some little money but always better than nothing....Amiga related stuffs, imho, cant be like real work or as someone spoke wait for a new work and than regain motiovation also on hobbyes(and I also know perfectly that unfortunately...)
So noone I think wants from noone to do anything for free or something like it but in Amiga-land, imho noone have to hope to work for "real" prices while also on real life often that dont happes...
Just for an example...
I spent something like 250+ EUR to buy Hollywood from version 4 to version 6 and I get about 25 EUR from my (not so)little Program "LoView" that ok was a crappy Hollywood program and also was made by me that I was all but a programmer but I do it for fun and dont really expect anything in exchange...and REALLY we need a good image viewer in AmigaOS4 I think...quite also need mplayer...

@LiveFoprit
Well... I can get your motivation on getting payd for your work but think about:
- how much OS4 software will exists in 2015 if everyone ask money to do that?
- We are atill here if everyone making software to try to extend OS4.x usability ask money before start coding?
I'm really with you and hope you can found a nerw work ASAP! But On Amigaland plz use more "human" prices... I dunno in Norway but here in Italy there was ppls that lives with 50/60 Eur at day of salary...ok that wasnt a proof salary but who in Amigaland have such a salary for Amiga related stuffs? So, ok if you ask to be payed for your work, but maybe do it in "free" time between looking for job and ask something lower...
Just my two cents...also looking at the whole world crisis situation...

Any chance to get Warp3D working on Radeon9800 or 9600? They can be a great step on from Radeon9000pro on my Pegasos2(and not only mine) and no HD boards are allowed here :(

The last I read IIRC was the ssolie thought that since we have a modern browser now in Odyssey, there were other projects that would benefit from the time spent on them rather than another browser which would largely reproduce what Odyssey alreay does.
but we have not the latest version and lacks optimization in the viedo part... Anyone know if kas1e will port also latest version and/or maybe add some optimisations?

Really curious to test that "new" mplayer when available :)
@LiveForIt
-I noticed that your mplayer in os4depot was slower than mplayer from afxgroup that I still use on my g4 Pegasos2....can you do anything from that?
Thank you

@feanor Quote: Now with regards to getting a new Amiga system in exchange for my services, as much as I would like that, I'm pretty sure my wife would object to that as that doesn't really help to feed my family, as I'm sure many of you already know. :) Yes... I know :)
