@Atheist
Hmmm...do you mean that any "out-of-the-box" 1G SDRAM for the AmigaOne must be modified in order to work, and therefore no existing ones will work as is? I can find 1G 168 pin ECC SDRAM for $33 US online. Wow, if only it would work!
Okay, if 1G won't work, who can point me to the cheapest 512k that will work in my uA1-c?
Thanks,
Scott

Okay, got MacLikeDoc 2.5 working....seems that the WBStartup_MLD_HZ file did not include the customhotzone startup...I added it and all is well!

The topic says it all.....can anyone provide me a list of some titles that work, now that I have my joystick working under OS4 (it works fine with E-UAE).

Since I can't find the hotspot anywhere on the screen, nothing comes up so I don't know if it works at all. However, if I simply double click the MacLickdoc icon in the root directory, I get my dock icons appearing correctly. I will try re-installing it from scratch and see if I might have mixed some files between old and new versions.

Strangely, I'm having problems getting version 2.5 to work. I've set it up to use the custom hotzones but I can't get the sub-dock I have defined to come up, even though I've tried making the hotzone rather large (200 x 200). I am assuming that the startX and startY positions are relative to the top left corner of the screen?

Yes! X and Y position AND variable size of the hot spot area would be fantastic!
Thanks!

Great program! Is there any way to change the hot sopts where the cursor makes the dock pop up with finer resolution thatn left,right, top and bottom? I would like to set a hot spot about 100 pixels from the bottom right corner of the screen.
Thanks,
Scott

@TetiSoft
..oops...yes...I didn't notice until after I posted this that Akiko is specifically for Windows, whereas the CD-32 emulator is for Amiga. E-UAE is a good alternative, no doubt about it....and I have gotten a few CDTV games working...but CD32 stuf hasn't worked for me so far...at least anything like Psygnosis Microcosm...
Anyone know how to get that working with E-UEA?
Thanks,
Scott

Yes...sadly, Kurt responded to my email telling me that the 1 Gig uA1-c card is no longer available due to lack of demand. Please let me know what you discover.

Hi, Since Os4 has AGA and HAM screen emulation, has anyone tried to use Akiko or the CD32 tools available here: http://www.airsoftsoftwair.com/ It would be great if these would work! Scott

@rwo
I'd love to be able to hotsync my Palm via USB...but I'm guessing the priority is on OS4-working Palm software rather than the USB interface. I can do some things with some of the existing palm 68k software using my serial port at 230k baud.....but the nice GUI based Palm programs don't seem to work. I recall someone was working on one for OS4 based on GTK....wonder how thats going?

Does anyone know of a working 1GIG memory SIMM for the uA1-c? I seem to recall one being offered by an Amiga vendor....but I don't know if it is still available.
Thanks,
Scott

@Valiant
I first used an Amiga in 1983...yes that's right...1983. I was working on Robot Odyssey for the Radio Shack Color computer and was in Palo alto California in 1983...one of my fellow programmers had friends who worked at Electronic Arts and we stopped by because he wanted to show me something "amazing". We went into a computer lab and there was a group of huge boards, all wire-wrapped, tied together by bundles of cables. He showed me a screen that had lots of colors (32 in fact) with a little symbol (pointer) shaped like the paw of an animal. "What do you think that is?" he asked me, refering to the pointer. ?I didn't get it. "Pause!"....i.e. "paws". Cute. Anyway, I think the program was one of Electronic Arts construction set programs.....I also played with a very early version of Deluxe Paint....
It changed my view of computers forever.....
