Hello,

Next year in perhaps Februry or March I am going to need a small 'team' to work on Beta Testing a fairly significant project that I have embarked on.

This software suite is an ambious undertaking of which I can only compare to one other which has long since been abandonened.

I need individuals who have a mindset in software development who can not only perform thorough testing, but can relate to the context of the software.

PM if you have an interest, thank you.

PS. Please do include your background and examples of when you were a software Beta Tester.

Rick

Hi

I'll probably call you on this one if need be, but is there a common Method or Approach for certifying Amistore purchased software applications have valid license keys either at startup or during run-time?

Hello,

Hopefully a simple question, how does one apply for a Publisher Account with AmiStore? I have a few ideas for the future.

An animated Workbench background? I hope that means we can have nice fade-between backgrounds ala MacOS X.

Cool cool.... so has this already been arranged for bundling into RunInUAE through AmiUpdate with Ludicrous speed fully enabled and zero configuration required?

PS. I am guessing that's Spaceballs The Movie.

@olafS3

A few reasons.

AmigaOS is written for PPC.
AmigaOS should not just be nostalgic.
There are many classic Amigs news channel already.
I prefer to promote current tech as much possible.
In order for AmigaOS to catch up it must be always looking forward - not backwards.

@thread

This old chestnut - for me this all boils down to the speed of development. If things were at a faster pace the community would respond more positively. I'd be able to post updates on social media much more often - I keep having to resist the temptation to post classic Amiga news which is counter productive.

The only definite news I can post about anytime soon is the release of AmiStore in July. *glances at own signature* That alone is small comfort given the current level of third party development is glacial.

@amigakit @thesolie @ssolie

I hope effort somewhere is being made to address the Printer situation to accompanying LibreOffice, it would be a real shame if users were able to create for example a MS Word Document but at the same time faced with being unable to print it off.

I'd just like to say how pleased I am to see work begin on updating mui-mplayer/gui so soon after the release of the v1.0 Radeon Driver :) It does make me wonder what next needs updating s/w wise.

@Hans - I wonder whether the driver had that tech implemented which made it easier to do screen capturing (video)?
