@salass00

Any heat issues if you also have a sil PCI sata card installed ? Or do you use a pciex16 extender cable ?

@djrikki

That Sam460ex Uboot is a paid update.
As the Acube online shop is closed for maintenance you cant buy it until it reopens.
It has been available since at least May 2015 .

@RIBDEVIL

What version of Linux and the Linux kernel are you using ?
and do you have the verde firmware in /libs/firmware/radeon ?
If I remember correctly I was geting a text display from Linux with the Radeon HD7750 and then a crash before the graphics display loaded . This was with a 3.15.6 kernel and there were a few changes in kernels after that .

Edit Just confirmed that I did get the Text console on the Sam440ep-flex and Radeon HD7750 .

Actually it s SinanG/SinanSam460 who is experiencing the pauses. Sounds like on an X5000 too .

It needs a Radeon HD Southern islands graphics card so wont work with a Radeon HD5450

@m3x

No there are no Radeon HD6000 or HD7000 pci cards so PCI Express - PCI bridge card needs to be used.The HD6000 series worked ok with the bridge card on the flex but not the HD7000 when I tried it about two years ago.We eliminated the HD7000 card as the problem as it works on the Sam460ex.

Don't think that it works after Windows XP.
You could use a Virtual machine on your Win10 machine runing Linux with Samba as a bridge to transfer files between the two OS's.

MorphOS 3.9 = 243.830

still almost 2x .

also Ubuntu-Mate 15.10= 311.379

EDIT:
AmigaOS 4.1FE MUI-Mplayer = 411.991

@LiveForIt

Interesting difference in decoding results between AmigaOS 4.1 and MorphOS on the Sam460ex .
The MorphOS version decodes 2.36x faster than the AmigaOS 4.1 version. What could cause such a large difference ?
