New version 2.0 of M-Pegit uploaded to OS4Depot

M-Pegit now has a Manual frame selection mode!

A new 2.0 version of M-Pegit has been uploaded to OS4Depot
and should be available soon.

M-pegIt is a program to select and capture frames from an
Mpeg video file and save them as bitmap (.bmp) graphics
files. As of Version 2.0 it supports two use modes,
"Auto Mode" and "Manual Mode".

The original "Auto Mode" provides the ability to set a
range of frames along with a "Skip Frame" value to
automatically capture a series of frames.

New in 2.0 is a "Manual Mode" which provides the capability
to view and step through frames, 1, 10, or 100 at a time
and capture the currently viewed frame. This makes it easy
to capture the exact frame you want.

Check out the extensive AmgiaGuide documentation for more
information.

If you like this program let me know!

@Raziel

Yep, I noticed your typo of deamon but forgot to mention it. Glad you found it.

I took your suggestion and use the "break" command. Thanks for the tip.

@Raziel

I just got through setting up TuneNet as my Web audio player myself. All you need is the -daemon option as that runs TuneNet in the background with no GUI. No need to redirect to NIL: either.

Here how I set it up to handle all audio links since it plays just about anything with the notable exception of Real files. I'll setup another mime type to deal with Real files.

Set up mime type as follows:

MIME TYPE: audio/*
Ext: <leave blank>
Action: External Viewer
Viewer: <your path>/TuneNet
Arguments: -daemon %f

Then I set up following Fastlink and/or Macro to stop TuneNet before the song ends if I want to.

NAME: Kill Sound
ACTION: Command | <your path>/TuneNet | -quit

Now when you click the button or execute the Macro TuneNet will shut down.

Works great here. By the way, it works for sreaming Shoutcast MP3 broadcasts as well.

The only side effect I've run into is if if you click the kill button or execute the Macro when TuneNet is not running it brings TuneNet up on the Workbench.

Hope this is helpful!

No need to replace the battery. Just go into U-boot menu and select the option to revert to "factory default settings". This also happens if/when you remove the battery but it's much easier to do it this way.

That was the first thing I tried and for some reason it didn't work for me. Still, it's worth a try as it's much easier to do than changing the battery.

Yes, now I found them... in workbench prefs... But I probably should have touched it. Now the AmigaONE boots to the "insert disc" screen and not to the workbench.

Don't panic. I had this same problem. After changing UBOOT
from Workbench it would boot to the insert disk screen. I
fixed mine by removing the battery and replacing it with a
new one and everything was fine. Just removing the battery
and putting it back in may work as well. I replaced mine
because I had a spare and it's been a year anyway. I seem
to have to replace it once a year on my uA1 anyway.

Give it a try and hopefully you'll be back up and going.
After the first time I was able to change UBOOT settings
from Workbench without any problems.

By the way, I also couldn't boot from the OS4 Final CD.
I just installed from Workbench on a clean partition and
it worked fine.

Just wanted to add my thanks as well.
I had pretty much stopped participating in AW
becuase the S/N ratio was getting a bit high.

Hopefully the charter of this site will keep that to
a minimum.
